Where (if anywhere) can I buy the SLDF Black Knight or it’s parts?

I’ve found the Atlas and Griffin parts in the BM, but I’ve never seen the Black Knight there. I have 1/5 of them from a Flashpoint and would like to eventually build it and trick it out with ER lasers.

You can't (by default at least.)

In itemCollection_systemStores_MechParts_BlackMarket_Assault and itemCollection_systemStores_Mechs_BlackMarket_Assault the Black Knight is defined as "BL-6B-KNT" which doesn't match the defs which use "BL-6b-KNT" The SLDF highlander has a similar problem. As a result they don't spawn in the BMs.

Has anyone reported this as a bug?

Well that sucks. I got a part from a mission and have been looking high and low for the other parts to complete the mech.

If you aren't opposed to a little alteration you can make the correction yourself in the csv files. Just lowercase the appropriate "B"s.

Just be aware that the SLDF Black Knight is still illegal with 6 DHS in the legs so if you want to keep those don't pack it up. Since it's been that way since release I'm guessing it's a feature.

Ohhhhhh. THAT'S why there's so many Atlas 2s spawning. The only other SLDF mech is the Griffon. Who the heck is manually typing those values? Double-click CTRL-C CTRL-V is your friend, HBS. Also, not a very hard test to write.

And maybe the current shift to seeing the A2 is deliberate?

Lore Wise Atlas 2 actually survived due to it's sheer effort to kill required and low amount of tech heavy weapons.

The lightly armed, tech heavy BK... not so much as they either ended up destroyed or cannibalised to keep another running when damaged. There's a reason why you only see a few in game and also in the campaign only one via the Cache.

Especially since the team obviously had to hardcode it to run reasonably cool as an illegal build.

I coulda sworn that it was Mitch or maybe Kiva that said in one of the older streams that the Atlas II we get in the campaign isn't an official Atlas II but more of a periphery noble custom job from the Starleague days. I'd say this is just a case of gameplay and lore separation.

Related note: does the SLDF Highlander show up at all in career mode? I've seen lots of Atlases and Griffins, but not the Highlander.
Like the Black Knight, the Highlander is prevented from appearing in stores due to a typo. It is (very rarely) available as a flashpoint reward, though.

I submitted a bug report on these and another item (LL++) I noticed not appearing in the stores:
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...not-appearing-in-stores-due-to-typos.1294523/

I'm surprised that this slipped through the cracks. This is the sort of bug that is both very easy to cause and very easy to write an automated test for. Even better, it is very easy to put a debug ASSERT so that it nags the dev working on it before they check in the JSON.

The campaign one is.

I'm talking TT lore about the others.

The whole point was several Mechs survived due to being hard to kill and rugged, the BK and certain other tech-heavy or light armoured not so much due to cannibalization.

Sure but all the ones we can buy in the BM use the campaign loadout.

As for the other point, SLDF Griffin 2Ns pop up in the BM but Highlander 732bs do not. I think the Highlander is probably tougher than the Griffin. The Gauss Rifle could be considered advanced and cannibalized or lost but then we'd just see 732bs with the Gauss replaced with an AC by that logic.
