Getting people excited to try it will sell more copies than explaining how it works. I presume that's why the game is in Cohh's hands.I was just curious about the specifics - especially in relation to what approach would help sell copies to more traditional Paradox fans or say, maybe 4X or Grand Strategy fans in general.
It's hard for me to see it with fresh eyes and know if Cohh's stream communicates the depth of the mechanics to people unfamiliar with them given that I played the Beta (ie. what does Cohh doing things the wrong way communicate mechanically?).
I've now caught up on Cohh's videos. This morning he went and refitted his mechs with more armor and heat sinks, resulting in better configs overall. He's also started understanding the mechanics better, resulting in him making better choices both in the mech bay and while maneuvering his mechs.
It's been fun watching him figure the game out. As he has, he has been getting better about communicating what he's doing and why.
