Long load time when selecting leaders

When I click on a leader to replace it, sometimes I'm stuck with a rather long loading time, especially with the major nations who have loads of leaders.

Would it be possible to have all GER leader pictures in one folder, and all SOV leader pictures in one folder, etc etc, so every time I click on Soviet leader the game only searches through the pictures of leaders from my country?

When you open a list with many leaders it takes time to load all pictures, but from my experience it is not that long to call it an issue. This happens only on the first change leader in a game session (and not always). The reason is that pictures for leaders are not loaded on game start, but when they are needed and that is how it should be.

BTW disabling pictures folder from antivirus protection can reduce loading time.

Well usually it's not an issue, but late in the game when all leaders are available and several countries have amassed huge armies, it could become an issue. But yeah, you have to prioritize what is needed to optimize. Thanks for the tip.
