Sorry for not being around guys but I've had a turbulent week to say the least.
I've started working at DHL, starting at 5 am and this whole week I've been getting used to getting up at 4 am instead of 1 pm, if you know what I mean.Needless to say I've been sleeping most of the time this last week, but I'm sure I can carry on as a perm, I've just gotta get used to my new sleeping arrangements.

I'm disapointed of what happened today.
1) Having a civil war when ghosted..03/1624
2) People notincing it only 10 (!!!) months after it happened.01/1625
3) Being back and trying to get all the territories back with 100k army left and with still 80k of rebels+15/20% of my land controlled by rebels. it obviously failed...01/1628.
4) Not being able to recover from the civil war effects of being ghosted, some nations declares independance (Morroco, Hedjaz, Iraq, Sindh).1629
5) Being attacked by humans Denmark and England. 01/1630
6) Denmark using the effects of being ghosted to avoid attrition on my legal territories.
There is obviously a problem on how some people plays and on how some people see the game. There is no rule who forbid people of being cruel, but there are borders not to be exceeded like exploiting a ghosting directly. And I think Aladar and Husky exceeds them.

well nothing much happened, since austria had naps with virtually everybody. I arrived 1 hour late, but In the time i was there, i chose the 2nd option in an event called edict of something, in which the first option gave convertions in bohemia and the 2nd 2 manus in central bohemia and tirol plus +3 stab. Since austria was at the time at 0 stab and was mostly all converted in bohemia, i went with the 2nd option.
After that spain crashed, and i had some trouble rejoinning, so they ghosted austria. Session ended at the end of all naps it seems. Also an agreement was made with bb in which austria would handover the prov whose name i cant remember, in exchange austria would get the price of a new weapons manu by BB. It wasnt concluded as of yet, as i told him to wait until u were playing since ud know what to spend the money u had on.

Yes, but why do we have to suffer and delay our actions because you didn't arrive on time? And do you really think you would defend yourself if you were playing right from the beginning?

5) We already planned it last session, and since i refused a NAP you can't be that surprised.
6) I had MA from the beginning, i wasn't given it by your ghost. I have plenty of colonies to sail to India without attrition, heck i own like 10 colonies in India. And you cancelled the MA 5 days after the war started so i was hardly able to use it. It's true that i later gained MA from Sindh, but also that as soon as you pointed it out, i stopped my advance in the provinse north of it and didn't move the army with my only leader till i had gotten MA from Delhi. You then used that to try and kill the leader and i didn't complain about that. Also at this point i'm fairly sure that Hesky was already stabbing you, as we held atleast 4 cots and 2 minor provinses - more then enough WS to stab you for the 2 cot's we wanted.
You were pretty much doomed from the start, mainly because you are so far behind in NT and LT. Heck my 1 galley outside Calcutta beat you 70 galleys more than a few times. You were able to raise a few more troops to poor into Gujarat CoT eventually, but i was still able to raise a lot of troops in India, and Christian IV was able to fend you of most of the times.
The strategy of manpower vs. LT and especially over NT is simply not a viable one if you ask me. Without the NT you can't possible hope to defend 4 Oceanic CoT's only by having a minor force there with a minimal or small fort. They were easy pickings and we held them within the first year of the war. Only because you didn't accept i tried to reach the Cashmir CoT as well, but only for warscore.
You are 2 CRT's down in LT and very soon the same in NT. It's a wonder that Austria hasn't taken back balcans and Venice all the islands and Greek lands if you ask me.
Normally, the obvious incapabilities of a ghost, such as allowing countries declaring independence, are edited out. You know that, Aladar.
EDIT: I wonder, how come Austria doesn't have more manpower than Brandenburg, when they have 14 more provinces? The total pop is slightly in favour of BB, but still 14 provinces should mean more than 4 mp.

Yeah but this was in the middle of the game, not much i could do there.
Honestly though, how would you react if you had come back to your country after a ghosting and see that 20 provinces are rebel controlled, there are rebels everywhere and your army doesn't even outnumber the total rebel force? And only 2 years after being dowed by the richest nation in the game, together with an ally, both being completely superior in technology, and your only advantage (numbers) isn't where it should be, just because of a ghost?
Well i would not expect to keep my 4 oceanic and unprotected cots in the first place. And we did give him time to recover - i very much doubt that it would have mattered had we dow'ed then or 5 years later. The only difference would have been 2 CRT's instead of 1, and still he would have been unable to defend the cot's.
Sheer manpower doesn't do the trick, when it takes longer for OE to get troops from his own homelands than it took for DEN/ENG to either sail them from Europe or just recruit them in our colonies in India/Indonesia. And he is the one who neglected LT/NT not the other way around.
I wasn't aware that OE had been struck by a CW when we played, we all just thought he had a lot of rebels and tried to make sure he didn't break down.
Since you need 2 years to recover from WE of manpower used in recruitment, yes it is a problem. I'm not speaking about loosing or winning, but about having a fair war or not. Especially since nations revolts and declares war against me during this time.
Well you are recovered now and neither England or Denmark is in an alliance. Feel free to dow me now and get revenge, i won't call anyone to my aid. Can't speak for England ofcourse. But be prepared to lose something if i win.
