Long Hair?

Although I certainly haven't seen all the screenshots, all the male characters I have seen so far have had rather short cropped hair.

Are there actually going to be long haired males out there for some countries? Sarmatians, Germans and Celts should have them at least. Together with extravegant facial hair ofc.

It wouldn't just feel right otherwise.

there is a general in the gallic AAR who looks like he hasn't cut or washed his hair and face in years who has really long hair, i would post a screenie but I have no clue how to

Oh, I so didn't notice him. He looks great, especially for German or Sarmatian.

And why could the characters chnage their hair-look during the game?
Many barbarians were 'romanized'

It would be a very neat feature if the characters aged in game. Maybe the graphic changes every 10 years or so. I think something like this would be easy to implement.

For example the base graphic could be name1.png then after ten years the game checks for name2.png and so on... However if there is no further images then it uses the active one.

That way the functionality is built in and Paradox does not have to worry about adding lots of new art so close to the release and it would make for some great after market mini-packs. Moreover it would give the graphic artists in the community lots of opportunity to develop custom images.

It is a win-win situation all around methinks. I cant imagine the code change would be very difficult but then again I'm not a real programmer so I could be wrong.

There was a screenshot of a leader with gray hair, so I guess that means he aged, unless when he was a teenager he had gray hair too.
