I don't really know.. I very seldom see Poland having stab below zero for decades, whereas for the Ottomans and England it is pretty common.

Poland tends to be big & strong for one century, then it falls behind and gets slowly eaten by its neighbours. But for the Polish strength, it usually allies with Lithuania and Bohemia, sometimes also Austria. It is difficult to loose wars with such an alliance.
