Logged in in the new launcher, not ingame

Finally got the launcher up and running and I'm logged into the Paradox account inside the launcher. Odd thing is that I'm not logged in ingame and am not able to do so.

No mods active.

Any unusual characters in your password? It looks very long.

My guess is the game has some issue with either unusual characters - spaces are a common one - or the sheer length. If you feel motivated to test let us kmnow what you find, otherwise I'll pass on the finding as is.

I assume if you change to a password of say 16 standard Latin alphanumerics, that works okay?

Nope, tried it with NUnS3T9fpFxpB7e4 resulting in the same issue. Ofc re-changed it already.

I see, the problem must be elsewhere then.

Let eu4.exe through all your firewalls; Windows' own one and any you might have in your internet modem/router.

Reset my firewall concerning EUIV and it worked after restarting EUIV, odd is that it worked perfectly fine with 1.28.3.

Any time a game or app is patched, its .exe file changes and it is normal to need to re-add it to exceptions in firewall and antivirus app whitelists.
