Location visibility?

After the new forums went online earlier this year i noticed that location information became available for the vast majority (if not all) of forum accounts. I tried fiddling with the privacy option but to no effect. Is it possible to change it? To clarify, i'm talking about showing/not showing location info (like country) next to user name in details. Not sure why that's happened but i think it shouldn't have happened. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Looks like if you delete this line in your account settings:

It blanks it out on your profile:

Not sure how long it lasts, though. Could be permanent, could be until you log in next. But I agree it's a problem.

Ok then, seems you folks are aware of the issue and the reply helped me find that surprisingly illusive field. You can close this thread if you deem it appropriate, as far as i'm concerned, it's served its purpose.

No worries; and to confirm: your location no longer appears in your user header.
