Location of "Songs of Byzantium" and "Songs of the Caliph"

I love playing the music in the background even when not playing the game.

The vanilla music is easy to find in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii

But I cannot find the DLC music that I bought on steam. It plays in the game, but I seems to be stored in another folder. Any ideas?

there is a DLC folder inside the ckii one. In the dlc folder you'll find various .rar archives. the songs will be in one of them...

How do you actually listen to the music, because it is all in ogg files so I can't listen to those or the dlc ones.

Download something that listens to .ogg files. My personal favorite is VLC Media Player, but there are plenty of others.

Yes. iTunes is surprisingly incompetent with these kinds of files. VLC player does the most random files though.

Like others I've always enjoyed VLC, small, lightweight and rarely lets me down.
