Heya!
I am just catching with the WWW stream via youtube, and whilst watching I noted that the tech tree was, obviously, very generic, with Fighter I and Fighter II.

Why not localize the names for the fighters by simply translating them? So Fighter I becomes Vadászrepülőgép I in Hungary, Jachtvliegtuig I in The Netherlands (unless you are looking at the Fokker line up for the Dutch), Jagerfly I in Denmark, Chasseur I in Belgium (alternating with a Jager line up for that bilingual flavour), that sorta thing. That should be a quick and easy way to diversify the tech tree without having to go in depth on coming up with pseudo historical brands.

This is very easily moddable in the localisation folder. simply a matter of finding the name of the technology. In HOI 3 it was something along the lines of

HUN_light_fighter_1; InsertNameHere;;;;;;;;;x

If not done by the devs, we could see translation mods for generic nations' localisations
