Two things that I love about HIP and that drew me in from the start were the colours on the political map and especially the native names for each county and realm. For some reason I just really prefer reading Roi de France instead of King of France.

The thing I was wondering is how did the team come up with all this localisation? Was it just through knowledge of the languages and translators or is there something historical involved as well? For instance, why is England under the English culture called Engelond? Or why is the Holy Roman Empire called Heilies Romisches Reich?
