Lobby crash, biggest concern for multiplayer EU4

It is now present since release of freaking EU4. This is more than 6 months now.

This crap is destroying any chance of public multiplayer games, it is even more annoying than a nonfunctional hotjoin. Please, at least TRY and fix this MIST.

Since 1.4 we are doing just fine, hotjoin is absolutely broken but if you entirely avoid hotjoin you can get a game going, 12 to 15 people are no problem.

The only bane is the lobby crash bug, it exists since launch. What is going on? Developers are downies?

Neither hotjoin nor lobby crashing should be an issue. It's not "okay" for baseline game features that are advertised to be unusable. I've not seen much lobby crashing, though beta (to be expected) and even 1.4 (the opposite) still see some actual crashes. Hotjoin doesn't work in beta or 1.4. The real question is...why? I'm still waiting on a good answer to that one.

Well about hotjoin. "raw" has voiced multiple OOS errors in the bug report forum that I was experiencing first hand! Yes, I was in the same game he was trying to join and I can confirm that his OOS errors was also appearing on my end. Guess what? The devs in the bug report forum where saying "We cannot reproduce these errors".

Simply what are we supposed to do now? The "devs" are saying they do not experience the errors we are experiencing ...

They say they don't make stealth, undocumented changes in patches too, which is actually kind of insulting considering how obviously false that is ;).

I seriously doubt they are mimicking the ping times at longer distances. If you test it in-house on sub-10ms ping connections you're not really reproducing the base situation at all.

When it comes to simply joining the game, even a ping of 1000ms shouldn't de-sync. Realistically, that kind of thing should lag the game to high heck rather than crashing people or dropping them outright, and the game should not "keep going" when someone is 8 days behind and begging for a de sync.

It's pointless to name call them, but at the same time when they provide false information (and it's a reach to see a plausible scenario where they wouldn't be doing so knowingly), or offer Q-A sessions where it's just as common to not answer questions as to attempt to do so, it's hard to be nice ;).

Lobby crash and non-functioning hotjoins are MP killers! This is rediculous that they cannot fix this??? Have they even devoted any time at all to the problems???
