first off some of the structures are a bit different over all...or at least it seem to me that way.
second....instead of 2 hard to get to turret generators there is one that you can get line of sight on pretty much first round.
then instead of 2 groups of vees coming at ya you get one....only noticed 2 turrets but there may have been 4
not sure cuz the turrets all went bye-bye first round.
once you get in compound its all the same.
oh and was running on normal enemies.[/spolier]
Thank you.

Also, on Release Day Mitch mentioned that the Restoration Campaign’s Final Combat was reworked significantly.

That all by itself is enough to make me want to start a new Restoration Campaign now! : )

Do yourself a favor for flavour and redo starting campaign lance with unseen.

And also there's the variable of the difficulty setting in terms of how many parts = a whole 'Mech. We don't adjust the cost of the parts based on that setting, so lower parts for completion means that, yes, it's cheaper to buy the pieces and put then together yourself (especially if you don't have the option on for unequipped 'Mechs).

just waking up, and I cannot find a feature request section in the forums here, so I will put this here: is there any way that you can make an adjustment so that when you go to repair damage that if you have replacements in storage that they would just up and take the replacement part and replace it automatically? I am also wondering if there is a way to stop the zoom in that happens when various actions happen, considering I have selected every possible available option to turn that off? One other thing, when some events happen that require more money than you have atm, that you have a chance to sell stuff to try to still get it before it takes the option away?

BATTLETECH Suggestions

При потере сопровождения заезжают в зоны из которых потом их ни как не удается вытащить .Исправьте ошибки с миссией "КОВОЙ" транспорты не достигают конечной точки !

[Mod edit: Please use Google Translate if you cannot post in English]
Translation: "In the event of a loss of escort, they drop into zones from which they then cannot be pulled out either. Correct errors with the KOVA mission transports do not reach the end point!"

@HBelter, sometimes it takes eliminating all hostiles and then taking my entire Lance back to the last vehicle in the convoy. But each time I’ve gone to that extreme, it has freed up the convoy and got them rolling again.

Sadly I've had a few times where completely cleaning the map and heading back to chivvy along the stragglers still won't motivate them to move :(

Indeed. There is at least one bug report and one active discussion thread about when this happens. For some, it happens regularly, for others occasionally, but it does happen.

Happened to me just a couple of days ago, in fact. Last APC broken down, and Sumire refused to deploy the tow truck to get it back ;) Which, of course, meant a bad faith withdrawal.

Does anyone know out of hand how many new events were added? It's the kind of thing that makes me start a new campaign.
I just recently began a new Restoration Campaign myself.

Just the current Store Configuration alone makes the experience rewarding and fun. I’ve found Mortars in 2 Stores so far and am in the process of saving up for one! : )

Finding HEAVY METAL Mechs in the AI OpFor of ProGen Campaigns adds a lot of spice and BattleTech FEELZ to the BATTLETECH Campaign.

As to the number of new Shipboard Events, I”vet only seen HBS refer to it as a “slew of new Events.” From my precious Career Attempt and my current, early Campaign attempt, I can share that while existing Events still predominate, new Events are frequent enough to draw the eye and the imagination and leave me wanting even more. These Event breath Life, Form and Function into the MercSIM aspects of BATTLETECH. I hope HBS’s BATTLETECH Live Support Team continues any efforts to bring us additional Events / enhancements of the MercSIM aspects of BATTLETECH.

now all they need to do is take a rather serious balance pass on the new weapons. LB2x's and LB 5x's are stupidly powerful, with UAC-2 and 5's not far behind. UAC's should be 100% more powerful then their base line weapons BUT they're supposed to have a significant chance to jam to off set that. Also greater mass to handle the increased firepower of the weapon. reduce some dame and add a nasty quirk/potential problem. The LB weapons how ever are just over the top. LB-2 are tossing out 48 damage and 12 on the base weapon and 72 damage with the ++ version. Base AC-2 damage is 25! Just a bit OP! The LB5X's in some ways are worse! Base AC 5 is 40 damage.. LB5 base is 60 damage and 20 stability damage while the ++ version keeps the damage but stability damage rockets up to 60. I took a rifleman and dropped 2 LB5X++ and 2 LB2X++ on it.
I didn't miss often as I have my best gunner in it. Potential damage per turn is 264 points which is not bad and a whopping 144 points of stability damage put on the target

I'll be the first to admit the AC's needed some love but this is over the top, and it's going to make it very difficult to balance clan weapons when in the future the game gets to that point.

Game dev guys... 35 years of battletech. Please please PLEASE respect the tabletop games balance and stop thinking that you can do it better because you can't. That's 35 years of player feedback and testing. I knew what I was expecting the game to be. I was not expecting a challenge from the AI stuff because frankly you need serious expertise there and you just don't have it. It might not even be available with this particular game engine. It's not that it technically difficult, which it is, but that the amount of decision making core would slow the game down even more.

What I was expecting is a game that would maintain the TT's original balance and come on to it's own as the core of a battletech PvP MMO. Right now ever, it aint good nuff.

Please work on that during 2020.

Well, my backup copy of 1.7 has 175 files in the "events" section of the game files, and my current install has 185. So... at least ten, I guess?

I was expecting more, and it's possible that they are tucked away in an asset bundle or something... but there are only ten that I'm sure of. Regardless, many of the files in there appear to be small variations of the same event designed to accommodate different background choices, so ten new would be a higher proportion of the events that can actually trigger in a single game than you would expect if you just looked at the total numbers.

FWIW, here's how the count has changed:
1.0: 129
1.1: 137
1.2: 141
1.3-1.5: 165
1.6-1.7: 175
1.8: 185

You had me at, “the core of a battletech PvP MMO”
