Interesting to see this new formable, though I'm a bit disappointed that Yuan still isn't making the cut given a lot of the formable nations the game allows.
More tags mean that the game runs slower, so adding something that pretty much exists already (Qing) is a bit pointless. Same argument as Firenze/Tuscany

While I am not saying that I disagree, there are a lot pointless tags in game already (like siberians, alt-hist tags, outside of time scope tags, revolters which appear virtually never or once per 100 games, ...) and if tags are really so resource-hog some could be deleted. Additionally in countries subfolder I have 584 files, which means that 6 more TAGS would be only 1% more resource demanding.

Edit: and they add (pointless) tags all the time: I am looking at you Estonia and friends.

Aren't Sibir historical? But we can agree that some of the added tags probably shouldn't have been added.

But playing as a Siberian tribe north of Kamchatka is a special kind of "experience", the kind for players who think nations like Dahomey and Potiguara are too easy and exciting.

I'd make the clan councils a bit larger. Fill up the coast of Siberia with them and suddenly Iberian Siberia is no longer a thing. No need to modify colonization further.

I think that there are about 10000 historical tribes with similar and/or higher population/strength than Siberian clans.
Yes, they are historical, but by any measure they are not comparable to 90% of other nations (except most of American OPMs I guess, which mainly exists to fill space)

Can we please have Iberia as a new formable nation? Spain + Portugal?
Spain is Iberia.
The old Roman province consisting of the entirety of the Iberian peninsula was named "Hispania", and that is what they called the region. Castillian/Spanish for Hispania is ofcourse España, which translates into the English "Spain".

Iberia and Spain is the same thing, and that's why Portugal can form Spain aswell in-game. Historically (and in a majority of all in-game cases) Castile got there first however.

More tags mean that the game runs slower, so adding something that pretty much exists already (Qing) is a bit pointless. Same argument as Firenze/Tuscany
I would assume the performance impact primarily depends on many tags are active at one time, not just how many exist in the game's data files. In the case of formable nations, no additional tag is being activated since one is always retires, so I'd assume it would have less effect on performance than adding a OPM to the HRE, for example.

Apparently not.
For it to be worth the performance cost of another tag, there would have to be a substantial enough difference between Florence and Tuscany that isn't just 'gain one province, hit decision.' I also question whether anyone besides the AI would use the decision at all, considering it'd turn you into another monarchy.

Dead tags take up performance too; as far as I remember it is because every tag must calculate relations to every other tag---including dead ones.
