I'm working on the 1500 mod and I'm having a bug that prevents me from playing some countries (mostly those who have no flag but also some others). Do you guys have any idea what might cause this?

The country you select on the start-screen must have it's own shield all working, as well as be a 'selectable' nation. Explain in more detail what you are referring to please.
Create a shield for that country, and it should be alright. Failing having a shield... temporarily use another country's shield until you do. The shields are located in '...\gfx\map\shields', and must be named by the tag that the country uses.
