War in the Central Asia – The End of Communism and Operation Sea Lion
At the end of November 1943, Lithuanian navy at last shipped the first few divisions from Iraq to Karachi. The city was saved from an imminent loss to American army. The battle began north of the city. On 1 December 1943, Lithuanians, Germans and Indian volunteers broke through American and British lines and moved south.
The Allies already reached Iranian border but within next few weeks more and more Lithuanian divisions arrived to Karachi. Lithuanian wide offensive began.
At the same time in the North on 27 November 1943, Lithuanians captured Uliastay. However, Sikiang cavalry captured Kyzyl and attacked an armoured column at Cheremuski. Germans suffered minimal losses and Sikiang cavalry was driven off.
On 5 December 1943, 2. SS Panzer Division “Das Reich” overran Mongolian defenders at Ulaanbaatar and 4 days later captured Mongolian capital.
Lithuanians, won few more battles against the communists and on 16 December recaptured Kyzyl. On the next day Mongolians capitulated and a puppet government was installed in Ulaanbaatar. One day later, Sheng Shicai was handed over by Mongolian authorities. A Second East Turkestan Republic was created and Ili National Army was formed.
Following the destruction of Comintern, Lithuanians turned their sight at China and Americans in the Far East. Americans are advancing west and Chinese are eager to capture Trans-Siberian Railway. Lithuanians warned China not to interfere and leave Trans-Siberian Railway open for Lithuanian echelons moving east but a secret plan of an invasion of China was drawn in case Chinese refuse to accept Lithuanian demands. The 1st Armija (21 divisions) is currently transported to the region.
Lithuanian submarines continue harassing American shipping near Japan shores in a hope to create supply problems in the Far East.
Following a successful operation in the western India, Lithuanians seized Balochistan and western Sindh. About 40.000 Allied soldiers were captured. Americans were later routed at Mirpur Khas and Jaisalmer.
Lithuanian 2nd Armija was ordered continue advancing in two directions: Delphi – Kathmandu – Thimphu and Indore – Calcutta. Lithuanians expect to capture another 60,000-80,000 Allies between Mirpur Khas and Indore.
In a mean time, the situation in western front has dramatically changed. On 9 December 1943, Germans began a long awaited operation Sea Lion. German and Italian troops landed at and captured Bournemouth. Few weeks later Portuguese and Brazilians captured Bristol. The Battle for Britain began.
Lithuania sent the 3rd Armija to France and Low Countries and is preparing to join the battle. Lithuanian landing targets became Dover and Lowestoft. The towns are heavily defended by British at the moment therefore the first landing is planned north of Lowestoft. Unfortunately, Lithuanian navy was busy in the Indian Ocean and it will take time for it to arrive to France. All troops and the navy should be ready by 1 February 1944.
