The problem is that modding makes unable multiplayer and achievements. I'm pretty sure more traits will comming in the future but yes, for roleplaying or even for make things more easy traits are, for now, a bit limited.

For exemple i would like to play in a future game as a very strong/venerable/resilient fanatic pacific/individual race and play an elightened monarchy. (something like wookies, giant physical creatures but pacifist). But for now you can't make that coz you need to pick all malus traits for choose 2 yellow traits. I would like to be able to manage easily my stats with -2 traits reducing for, exemple, my technology production but being very strong. That really would make things more manageable in both roleplay and statistical choice.
In the other hand, i have already said it but i find that there is a bit too much +2 traits comparing to +1 traits. I find that, for now, you don't have too much choices in the trait selection.

But how important are achievements really?
Not at all, but it's always nice to get some recognition, even if it's just a meaningless sticker, for the things that you accomplished in your game. It also gives you goals that you might otherwise not have considered that add replayability to the game. Achievements haven't become commonplace in the video game industry without reason.

The problem is that modding makes unable multiplayer and achievements.

Like CK2 you can probably still multiplayer, long as your opponents have the same mods. If thats not acceptable, then really the complaint is, you can't multiplayer against people while having the rules decidedly tipped in your favor. Which, of course. Why would Paradox want that in a game they are trying to sell?

The problem is that modding makes unable multiplayer

actually not true. While it does disable achievements. It doesn't disable multiplayer. Both people have to have the same mod though. But people do play for example multiplayer of MEIOU and Taxes in EU4.

Anyways, I did make a thread about trait ideas that the Devs could hopefully add before the game comes out, or sometime afterwords. :)

I know that both must have same mod for playing but that drastically reduce the playability in mutiplayer. So it's basically like it is disable. So modding isn"t a solution.
