Hi guys, I come across some problem with the map lighting (I check the Known issues thread, it does not seem to match with my troubles)

Here is what my map looks like that, all dark and gloomy, as if colors where inverted :

I'm using the linux version, and I'd never met this on ck2 or any other app.
If anyone has an idea of what's happening …

Try to disable shadows in the game options.

Open Europa Universalis IV\gfx\FX\shadow.fxh (game install folder), change "return ( 1.0f-fScaler ) + fScaler * vShadowValue;" in the GetShadowScaled function to "return 1.0f;". It should fix the problem but you will have no shadows.
It is most likely a driver issue, will see if I can find a solution for it.

Thank you for the solution.

Why does the “draw_shadows=no” option have no influence on this, though? Shouldn't that have turned off these shadows? Furthermore, despite “draw_reflections=no” the water still seems to be very reflective. :) But I guess I should open another thread for that.

It will turn off the generation of shadows but the shadow texture is still being used in the shader (haven't had time to remove it when shadows are disabled).
My guess is that it is some kind of problem with your drivers and the use of a sampler2DShadow.

draw_reflections=no only disables reflections from boats and such, not from the sky (WAD).
