I got the steam version of CK2 and Monday I noticed that it has a linux version so I install it but most mods are not working(I seem to get only the performance mod to work) I saw on the forum that this is a know issue but almost all the post I saw are from January, is this still a issue or I am doing something wrong?

Are you launching the game with the mods? There are several launchers for Linux that let you choose mods, or you can just launch the game like ./ck2 -mod=mod/example.mod from a terminal.

Some mods may not work on Linux because Linux is case sensitive, and developers working on Windows often don't care about case mismatches. For example, if some part of mod code requests a file called "filename.smth" to be loaded and the folder contains a file called "FileName.smth", it will work fine on Windows, but not on Linux, because there "filename.smth" and "FileName.smth" refer to different files that can coexist. Contact the maintainers of the mods you want to use and ask them to correct case mismatches (an easy way to do so is always using lowercase, both when naming files and requesting them).
