[Linux] Full crash while making a new game

Hello everyones
After playing on a hacked version on my main pc (on windows) without any problems, i decided to buy the game to run it on my linux laptop

Problem is : during the loading of a map : screen freeze (aka mouse moves once per 20 seconds), Hard disk is screaming and i can't access a TTY command line due to the HDD overusage
I bought a game which doesnt works

I have a friend which has a lower-end pc than me (pentium 1.7ghz), but use windows, and it runs smoothly.

Put Steam in offline from the menu "Steam" -> "Go offline..."

Try and lower the resolution
Are you using the Nvidia driver?

Yep, proprietary (since with intel it doesnt evn allow me to chose a map xD)

Bump : with minimal resolution and details, i was able to run a map!
Too bad i'm having trouble with nvidia drivers and it used my intel card (making usual glitches)

I had a lot of problem with ubuntu and switched to debian. With optirun ad minimum details it runs quite laggy but runs. thanks
