[linux] CTD when I start a game

I'm on linux 14.04. Beta patch 2.2.1.1 - same probleme without the beta.
The game works fine untile I start a new game by choosing a charachter on the map or loading a save.
So I can't play the game.

Is that a known bug ? the "-threads=1"-thing works for the last non-beta patch but the game crashes just a little bit later. Since CM have been released I never have been able to play a normal game without a crash in the the first 30 min.

No, that's not a known bug, not that I'm aware of anyway. Perhaps it's time to do a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.

As of patch 2.0 the "Documents" equivalent is now:
/home/user/.paradoxinteractive/Crusader Kings II/

If that doesn't help, please go to Steam-help-system info, and paste everything from there in here, except the Installed Software list at the end. And if you have any useful info from the Linux crash or log files that would be good too.
