[LINUX] CKII graphic issues

Hey there

i installed crusader kings 2 on my laptop running ubuntu 12.042 with steam today, and when i start the game most of the terrain is black. (in the terrain view it laggs)

i5 560m
nvidia 420m GT
4 gb ram

i am still confused by all the nvidia drivers for linux. in the systems options the intel graphics are mentioned, but in the internet there is often mentioned that basically the nvidia is running.

It's been awhile since I used Ubuntu, but you should have a control panel for 'Restricted Driver Management'. Go there and make sure the NVIDIA driver is installed.

Also if you run the command 'glxinfo' on the command line and paste the output here on the forum that should give people the information they need to help you out.

Apparently in 12.04 you should find the driver management tool under System Settings -> Additional Drivers
