The announcement mentioned the engine to be multi-platform - that's great.

Will Linux be supported at launch?
I hope there will be some commitment for a Linux version, even if the linux port is not available at launch (a bit like Battletech). I'm getting used to have to wait longer before getting my games for Linux (although not from PDS, kudos to them for that ! Linux at launch for all their games is something I applaud, and I hope Triumph will do the same in the future). Without commitment, I'll have to shield myself from the growing hype, and do as if this game does not exist (as I generally do for Windows-only games, whatever their merit).
I've never seen it work that way, though I wouldn't mind paying an extra $5 if that's what it takes to get a port. I mean, Windows users have to pay for garbage that's free for Linux users (or not needed), so it balances out, right?Would be interesting to see. Do I need to buy different versions, when I first buy the Win version and want to change to linux, after it would be released?
