Viden: Maybe, you never know. But currently both Columbia and Venzuela are pretty much occupied with their ongoing civil wars. I doubt that they would have the necessary power to overthrow their neighbour. And Ecuador is going to be arch-catholic...

elbasto: Thanks for your statement. And your post was the 500th in this post which brings this AAR in the top twenties of all the Victoria AARs.

Guys, I felt more like "designing" flags then to write an update and so I post a sheet with all of Platineas flags. There are sometimes two flags per category (for example coast guard) this means on the one hand that I haven't decided yet which one is better/nicer and on the other that both could be used. In these cases I would appreciate to let me know what you think, so I could decide which one to take.
There are several flags that are missing (because they don't exist yet): Flag of the Crown Prince, several secretary flags, flags for vice-admiral and so forth.

Very Beautiful Flag, are extremly good made and very pretty ones, that are perfects for the History,and now my sugestion of Which one use:

The Second War Flag is more notorius the Platinean Sun and the Adorn in the Corner

The Number Two War Ensing, the Number one look like the Japanesse one with another color and look weird, the second too, but doesn't look like a rip of another...

And the Number One Coastal Guard, look better and costract the color of the simbol in both side, look more nice for me.

In General, all flags are amazing and beatiful, great Work Treppe, you surprise and deserved apraised for the flag, i expect to see more ones and how the AAR progress(you're now in middle to Late Victorian Era, unless you want make impact in the Europeans war, the another more dinamic thing to do are Colonies in Both Asia and Africa, and Expect when the AAR reaches the WW1 era, Which side do you will take(never with the british, the are very demanding a little cooperatives 'allies' . ask to the amercians for more information,XD) and how the war will conduct?), well waiting for more ans wishing succes and good luck treppe

Thanks to all of you for the great response. As the 2nd options are clearly favored I will choose them, sorry Nivek.
But I give you one more choice. Someone pointed me at the fact, that the first war flag would also make a good war ensign. So it's now up between those (I have update the flag chart, so now both designs are listed under 'war ensign').

Nivek: Well actually the Japanese War Ensign is off centered to the left but you are right it just looks like a japanese sun-burst/war ensign in swedish colors. So perhaps you are more happy with the new choice you got.

elbasto: I don't think they have any use for the flags of a purely fictional country, but thanks for the compliment.

demokratickid: Yeah it's kind of cool to serve under the Panther flag .

Genusaus: I only gave a random page number to give it a 'schoolbook look' or something similar. I don't get your comment about red and white things. But if I'm guessing correct you mean with Boca Boca juniors and then red and white could mean River Plate but I could be mistaken.

So and here are some more platinean flags. States, territories and political flags.

With the exception of the political flags, most flags are identical to historical flags who have been in service in or prior to 1860, or proposed flags.
Of my own design are La Plata, Valparaiso, Formosa, Chaco, Chuquisaca, La Pampa and both Patagonias.
The states who have a plain white flag with only their coat of arms don't field a regular flag.

It was quite a pain in the *** to come up with those, because only half of the Argentine states have historical flags (some still don't have one and others have very modern ones). Furthermore I couldn't find any 'subnational' flags for Bolivia, Chile or Paraguay (nor Uruguay but as it isn't necessary to divide it into subunits it doesn't matter).
If any of you, especially my south american readers, have better flags/flag proposals/greater knowledge about such please let me know. It would be especially cool if you could send me a picture of the flag in question.

So now I wait for Garra and all other Argentineans to tear me apart.

Found an error: the black ~ in the flag of Estrella Surena belongs over the 'n' of Surena. Sorry Viden still have a german keyboard.

I'm thinking that if these provinces would be based on the divisions made by the Viceroyalty then Santa Cruz would be Chiquitos, Chiquisaca would be Charcas and Cochabamba would have to be a state, as well as Moxos.

Well, and San Luís, Neuquén, Misiones, Entre Ríos, Estrella Sureña, Unión Liberal, Perú and Partido Patriótico (In the flag the word is Religión).

More very beatiful flags(and the Ortographic Inquisition Strike backs now in English,xd), Well in general the Flags are beatiful(and give more flavor to the history) and waiting to the new update(you finally will gona annexed the Atlantic Duchies and the rump Peru in the Short time??) and still you can annex more to the north to have an Access to the Carribean(and have a eyes with both the American/British, who easily can start a BB War)

This isn't a mission of the Orthographic Inquisition. Treppe is German so his misspellings are justified and corrected in order to achieve a better AAR. Not like you, damned pesky heretics!
