Liberating countries

I have a technical question. Is posible to change something in the scenario files or somewhere to allow any country to free another whose regions the main one owns. As it happen with USA who in the beginning of the 1933 Scenario can free Philipines. I know you can free countries conquering region of another country but not if the countries are original yours.

You just have to remove the cores listed as "national" and put them as "extra" in the revolt file

The question is not clear, but if for example you want to release Texas or California as USA, I think that you have to modify the usa.inc file in the scenario folder and remove the nationalprovinces = { ... } section.

You are right, but, by doing this the changes take effect only in that particular scenario. If you modify the revolt file, the changes will be available in all of the scenarios.
