So to start off I love the leviathans expansion, but felt it was missing a key component with the exception of the almost impossible ether drake egg you can't get any of them on your side. It's basically kill them or leave them alone.
What I want is the ability to "tame", research or otherwise deal with the guardians in a way that isn't just killing them all which I never do instead i usually just leave them be till the AI kills them off.
There are a few mods which do this partially, Hydra's leviathans mod adds them, but only the models lacking in the actual abilities of the leviathans which always ends up making them rather silly in my opinion.
Enigmatic technologies adds the "worm-in-waiting" aka dimensional horror as a station not a ship, but like Hydra's it's just a frame.
The closest i have seen is the CMA call of Darkness mod which allows you to Summon a friendly dimensional horror completely identical to the one in the game no ftl, horrible otherworldly attacks the whole nine yards, but as far as I can tell it's only the horror and it basically remakes the entire game play according to a custom race/story line.
So if anyone knows a mod that does more of what I'm looking for i would greatly appreciate it, or if as I suspect it doesn't exist I would like to shameless request someone with better modding talents than I(namely any) could make one, since I imagine paradox is not planning on adding any of these features. Although I would gladly pay them for the leviathans expanded DLC.
