Origin was utterly destroyed, and its franchises were FAR more popular than Command and Conquer.

EA is different now. The new "evil empire" game company is Activision.


Strategy games really dont exist on consoles.

EA is different now? Bioware is the only studio I know of which it hasn't destroyed, it is also its most recent aquisition. I'm not accepting that it's different until ME3 and Dragon Age 2 come out and are still good.

As much as I look forward to Bioshock 2, I know that, if done well (And I'm sure Paradox will deliver), Victoria II will hold my interest for far longer and have much higher replayability for me. Plus, if it's a resounding success financially, there would potentially be a good chance for an expansion that would pull me back if I ever lost interest.

It really is pathetic that developers still haven't figured out how to move strategy gaming into the current generation of consoles. They're missing out on a far larger market than exists with PCs these days.
