Welcome, my friends! With the release of Adams (and unfortunate conclusion to the previous series), I am launching a new Let's Play Series based on an obscure joke from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (which, to be fair, I am not following all that closely anyway). We want other species to join our Foundation and science all the science there is to science.

Didn't take long to get another Stellaris game going I see.

Excited to see how this one develops, especially since you went for hyperlanes only. Looks like you have a few chokepoints to investigate right off the bat.

Also odd how the first aliens you encounter use the same potrait as yours. Maybe they're long lost relatives. :p

Dodgy it what I call it - evidence of some precursor civilisation seeding the galaxy or something :D

It kind of sucks that you have another nation right on your borders at the start, but at least they're friendly. If they closed your borders, that'd really be a pain.

It's also fortunate that the creature from the void isn't in a system along one of the crossroads. You'd be trapped for decades with that beast blocking your path.

They are really pressing you in there. It's going to be tricky finding places to expand, although the area to your right seems relatively free for now.

I'm curious to see how long it takes for that neighbour just above you to start getting agitated from border tension. I imagine they won't stay peaceful forever.

Yes, things do look a bit constricted. You may end up playing quite tall by force of circumstance.

You've found friends at last. This is certainly different from your last try, and you might just last longer this way. :D

One thing concerns me: apparently, in Adams, the Unbidden are even stronger?! :cowers in fear:

You would think that all those federation builders would be clamouring to join your federation. At least the bulk of those around you seem friendly, even if they are closing you in.

Episode #6:

I apologize for the delay; I forgot to upload this morning. I did remember eventually, however!

Looks like you lucked out again, ending up with a Fallen Empire that actually likes other aliens. I swear half the aliens in that galaxy are xenophiles. :p

I am afraid I have gotten behind on this - I've been watching some of the videos from PDXCON instead. Will try to do something about that in the coming week.

A disjointed empire is better than none at all. Hopefully that doesn't make it too tricky to defend if things go downhill.

Uplifting a civilization could mean new friends. Ideally friends who actually want to join the federation and do whatever you say. :D
