Alright, breaking down the votes from this site and the other where I'm hosting it (Three over there), the breakdown comes to 6-1-5. Mexico and mountains it is!

As the final preparations were being made to the Reichswehr, over in the Second Russo-Japanese war Russia annexed the Japanese-puppet state of Fentigen (Manchuria), taking from the pressured Japanese their last ally in the region. Japanese divisions continued to hold in the Korean Northern Mountains however, and the Russian's Qing Allies were grumbling about Russia keeping their Chinese territories to themselves. The factions were far from cemented over there.
It was perhaps a sad statement for the Reichstag to make that their medical procedures were being constantly retooled with field experience and the newest equipment available, as everyone present, Kaiser included, understood this advancement was being made mainly in preparation for the many German wounded sure to come of an American invasion.
Just before the massive transport of the Reichswehr was scheduled to launch, however, one last initiative in the Reichstag was made for peace. The main argument was not based on how the American Syndicalists (Those left) would be unable to truly threaten a dominant European Germany, but instead on how the launch and expected casualties of the Operation would disrupt many of the new families a good part of the Reichswehr had started with their two years of semi-active status in the Fatherland. Even the most fervent War Hawks of the Tag were unusually thoughtful of the commitment, when put into this context. In the end, it came down to Kaiser Wilhelm III's words that, as he put it, "a world with a continuing Syndicalist presence, one in particular with nuclear weapons and a hostile attitude towards the German people that shows no signs of relenting, would be a much greater disruption to all German families, than the valiant sacrifices of many fathers and sons to once and for all stop such a threat".
(I actually got a second peace/dove lobby increasing event, but didn't screenshot because I felt it wasn't a good enough bit for the AAR, now I regret that. Just ignore that part of the UoB)
And so, the first near 400,000 German Reichswehr troops, many waving and giving heartfelt goodbyes to their families and fellow citizens, departed from Lubeck. Their destination, Havana.
The American Navies, broken by the German Air Carriers, still attempted to make life hectic for the German Transport fleets. KriegsMarine Liche Flotillas sunk these without quarter. Most retreated to port after a few licks.
After about two months of sailing back and forth between the two hemispheres, About two million Germans were assembled on the Island of Cuba, not counting Luftstreitkräfte or KriegsMarine personnel. The invasion of North America, codenamed Operation Gotterdammung, would start with an invasion of the Yucatan, followed by smashing the CentroAmerican and Mexican nations before reaching the American border. The American Armed Forces made up about 5/6ths of all Syndicalist military at this point, so while the CentroAmerican campaign was expected to go as planned, Mexico in the best of scenarios would become a bloody campaign where German armor continually pressed back the huge masses of American infantry. At worst, it would become a bloody battle of attrition, reminiscent of the first Weltkrieg.
The campaign started on December 5th. Whereas in Europe such timing would have been boneheaded, in the hot jungles of Central America, some snow might have been a welcome relief to the marines and mountain troops as they crashed ashore in the Yucatan peninsula and Belize city.
(The front expands as the Reichswehr divides up to start the simultaneous campaigns.)
(The campaign by Mid-February)
The last of the CentroAmerican and CSA armed forces in Central America collapsed when General Manstein made a daring amphibious assault with his Panzer Army, preventing the Syndicalists from retreating to there and fortifying the city against Reichswehr forces.
As the Operation is playing out in the Americas, an almost non-issue comes up in the Reichstag. A motion is made to make a permanent statement on Syndicalist parties in the more democratic Kaiserreich. Originally banned in 36', with the reforms brought on by Wilhelm III in 43' there had been whisperings of whether the German syndicalists would be allowed to participate once more in the government process. Papen brought it to the floor for a vote, and both chambers with a healthy majority voted to ban the party. Very few in the German public saw much trouble with the decision.
As the Central Americas were once again MittelEuropa friendly (Briefly before under United Provinces control in 42'), the Reichswehr turned all its efforts to Mexico. A panic in the plan erupted when, as a large part of the Reichswehr reached Mexico City, the lines behind them at Pueblo collapsed under a million man American advance.
(Should have taken a better shot of the retreating Germans, sorry)
Realizing the tired Germans at Mexico city wouldn't reach Pueblo in time nor in good enough shape, the General Staff had the entire Reichswehr reserves kept in Cuba shipped over and dropped at Pueblo. The American forces, equally as disorganized as the Germans in Mexico, would falter against fresh troops. And they did. The crisis had been averted.
As all German Reichswehr were being moved up to face the ever-increasing American troops in Mexico, the Germans turned Central America over to their formerly-annexed allies, the United Provinces of America. The Panama canal, for the time being, would be kept under German hold.
The war in Mexico, as the weeks dragged on, was seemingly more and more likely to become the General Staff's worst-case scenario, a battle of attrition against vast American infantry human waves. The largest of these concentrations however, was dangerously close to being surrounded and starved in the southern mountains of Mexico. It was going to be difficult to beat the near one million Americans there, supplied or unsupplied, but they couldn't be ignored, not at the flanks of the Reichswehr.

I have another update up and ready, and I can tell you for one, a lot of stuff is going to hit the fan.
