Let's Play: Europa Universalis IV: NATION VOTE!

Hey guys! I will be doing a let's play on YouTube when the game comes out in two weeks. In the video I explain my criteria for the factions I have listed in the poll. The link to the poll is in the description as well as right HERE: http://poll.pollcode.com/zjh5y

EDIT: If Byzantium wins I MIGHT do Byzantium+the one who comes second. This is however not a certainty as ROME II is on the way and I have plans on doing a mega campaign now that the CK2-EU4 converter has been announced. Somewhere down the line though I will definitely be trying out cool nation like The Hansa, Switzerland, Sweden and the Aztecs.

Byzantium, You said your a veteran, and you could use popularity by a popular challange.

And no one else would play Byzantium on release, especially since most LPers dont have the experience of Paradox games. unless Qull18 goes for Byzantium or Diplex. but very doubtful they will.

Why play as one state when you can play as an entire alliance of them?! The Hansa is the obvious choice here. And also the Papal States because being the pope is pretty obviously superior to being someone who's not the pope. If you are the first you're the ruler of all of Catholicism and if you're the second you're not the ruler of all of Catholicism. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Indeed it does seem that Byzantium will win. But I will wait until release to announce the winner. What I can say is that I will definitely play Byzantium if the people so wish. I have played Byzantium in EU3 and I expect it to be roughly the same strategy in this case. But no less, the mechanics are new so you never know. However, I do believe I have been following the updates and quill's videos enough to get going pretty fast. And my love for paradox won't hinder me in any way. It's basically all I play (if you exclude Total War games).

I would love to see an Oman let's play. It would be interesting to see the "Portugal of the middle east" in action. I'm sure there will be plenty of Byzantium let's plays anyway

I want to know the situation in italy, and not only becouse i'm Italian, so i voted venice and the papal state.
