1. My army is vastly superior to the army of England.

The difference don't lie there but in the fact that you were planning to attack them and i'm planning to defend against them and repulse them to Malta. So no penalities to Christian nations.
By the way, Spain said that they would support the Knights, not Rhodes, if they were attacked.

you and France aren't the only nations bordering Spain. have you forgotten Portugal?
Portugese army is only smaller than Spanish by 10,000 soldiers.
France has 27,000 soldiers in Mont Pellier, Southern France. so that should keep Spain at bay for a while.
