One of my wishes for HOI2 that I've not seen mentioned yet:
The manual for HOI 1 mentions that you can request a specific attack from your allies at a certain province and date. Obviously, it didn't make it into HOI 1 but I think it could be a great feature if done right.
For instance, tell Canada that you want them to attack Dieppe at a certain date, and rather than them send in single divisions they plan for an attack and go when you ask.
I'd also like this to be tied into some intelligence system. The longer the gap between the time you request the attack and the time it is set to happen, the greater the chance of intercepting intelligence about this (modified by your techs and ministers of course).
So you may get a popup saying there is a high probability of an attack on Gibraltar on May the 4th, or you may have an attack planned and suddenly see the AI move all its troops into the target province and know that they've figured out your plan.
To make this more interesting, once an attack is planned it should be hard to un-plan it, to represent the difficulties in chain of command and so on, especially across different countries.
Anyway, that's my wish
