Did you found any woman too old for their kids? Let's collect them in this thread.

She is 61 and started becoming kids in the young age of 50 years. Her youngest kid was just born, so she got her only 61 years old. Problem: her whole family tree is messed up, if you make her younger her parents would be dead before her birth.

Yeah, the history files can be....
There seem to have been a LOT of Muslim dynasties who had a member born in 1150 and who died in 1200, followed by another born in 1300 and who died in 1350--with no one in between.

Well... it's not biologically impossible. The game is a little conservative in having a hard cutoff at age 45 for simplicity's sake. (The flip side is that some women hit menopause in their 30's, though inherent fertility mostly models that okay).

So the history files can easily have some documented or reputed case of a mother being in her 50's or 60's. Or have to reconcile records that just do not make sense or have missing information.

I guess because people don't care about history files and don't understand that Hedwig de Nemur is the wife of the actual duke, left behind with a 61 year old wife.

I think the record for least plausible age is held by Mani (founder of manichaeism). The game gives his a son and daughter born 987 and 990 years after his death thanks to an obvious typo in character id.

Can anyone beat this?

There are some unintelligent clowns running amok around these forums downvoting almost every new discussion these days. Not just here but also in most other subforums here, like Imperator forums. Has been going on for two months now.

Suggestions? Questions by new players seeking help? People posting about their newest in-game thing? Someone posting a fun challenge? Boom, the impotent rage losers get there first and push the disagree button. Shameful indeed.

Best to ignore the brickheads and continue on.

...and just to throw a spanner in the works, there are a couple of events that can result in post-age 44 pregnancy.

Son of the Buffalo Woman doesn't do any age checks, and has a flat 10% chance of impregnation (although THAT is mystical and may be WAD), and we found one of the old Lover events suppressed by Way of Life that forgot to include the age check (that one is a definite typo - the other events in that suite all have an age check line in the same condition text block code each of them uses).

There might be others, though I have looked fairly hard.

Sorry to stray out of topic with my comment but, i think it has been like that even before imperator, but it certainly feels like it increased in frequency after imperator.

There are a lot of issues in the history files. One I've mentioned several times is the fact that Robert Guiscard's first wife (Bohemond of Antioch's mother) in the files has the Duke of Burgundy listed as her father when her father was actually the Count of Burgundy (Franche Comte in the game). Because of that she is given a doppelganger with the correct parents and dynasty. There are some other pretty big issues, but that one is the most glaring.

I would assume someone disagrees with the notion of her being too old for childbearing - and as such disagrees that there is an oddity.

I've been going through the history files, and I've found several people who are CLEARLY duplicates. At least some, I assume, are due to dynastic tree reasons. (Some characters have dev notes specifying they're given the "incorrect" dynasty because, otherwise, that dynasty would have a broken tree--a real issue when the dynasty is big and broken early.)
