More or less the same problem here.
Steps:
Is it possible to go to both places and i massed up ? Or is only one or the other possible ?

--> So all the Quest in Lethian´s Crossing never triggerd.

I did what you did.
When you finish the burning library, you'll be able to select the Lethians option and quests will work.
After maybe because of that some quests got into a wrong status. For sure I spotted the mayor quest stating that I needed a key from him and ended after I activated the spire.

So don't worry, the story will be able to continue.
But for sure this looks strange as the quest log informs you for something you cannot do until you tell Graven that you want to go for the helmet.

But i talked to everyone again after i finished the library and Graven only talked about the fact that our position is now good and we need to go to the region where the Stone Man (sorry forgot the name) is locked away.

So maybe i messed up some triggers. But i hope you are right and i can do it someday.

Having A similar problem except I am not with either the Disfavoured or the Chorus (Betrayed them both). Got Past the 1st mercs with smooth talking......killed the ones in town. I got the burning library unlock from Bleden Mark and it's currently sitting there winking at me so should i go there first?

Sorry for offtop, but there was a plea to fix weird quest chains. My top on weirdness was when I entered some another tavern door and saw DAMNED ARCHON OF SONG singing to some peasants, who seeing me says: "hey, you going to steal my fun! Nerat sent you? No, I know, it was Tunon. Ok, let's go."
And your character can't even ask "what."!

I really reacted to that. I'm still enormously weirded out by the fact that the Archon of Song is standing in that tavern, and you can't even ask her what she's doing there. Nobody sent me there or anything. I just walk into a random tavern, and she's there, and she wants to tag along to learn about the world.

It's super-super weird and really, really.. just.. weird.

Things like this really ruins a game for me. There's less sloppy stuff from the absolute bottom of indie development, in studios scraping by on water and bread. Seriously feel like just dropping what looked like a promising game at first. I'm so happy I didn't buy it myself, yet. Almost did.

I am stuck also. I have several quests, one is broke. Cleaning out the Junkyard. Teodor just seems to have ran away. He is nowhere on the map.

The others I just do not have anywhere to go. Oh I have sided with the Disfavored

Stirring Visions - Only have 2 of the rubbings (I might have done Lethians Crossing out of order, I went in and attacked all the mercs there)
Stones of Elucidation - Recover the stones from Oldwalls breach. Cleared map, there is a door there but no way to open it.
Trials of the Archons - Stuck here also, can't find anyone to advance the quest.
A breach between worlds - Same as Stones of Elucidation.

I do not think I have missed anyone to talk to , and have went back and re-talked to people, the Burning Library and Cacophony are not open to me. I have been to Tunon;s court.

I thought it was weird that there wasn't anything to do in Lethian's Crossing apart from killing a bunch of soldiers, and I solved the glyph puzzle with only two of the rubbings too. Maybe I should start my game over.

Since it's possible to get locked out of main quests if you do it wrong, that would probably be the safest bet. Apparently, depending on circumstances, it's possible to end up either getting the quest to go to Lethian's Crossing or getting the quest to go to the Burning Library - but not both - if you went to Lethian's Crossing before a main-quest explicitly told you to.

I know where the problem might be.

In act 2 we have 4 major quests. It's Lethians crossing, burning library, stone sea and stalwart. The problem is you cant do all of them. I made quick runs with disfavored and chorus, and in both of them I couldnt complete one of the quests. Ashe/Nerat gives you a choice where to go: library, crossing and stone sea/stalwart (depending on who you sided with). So you can make this choice two times, and then ahse/nerat orders you to solve the problem in his region. In the end you can complete the quests in three regions and then the act 3 begins. So if you chose to complete quests in library, stone sea/stalwart you cant complete the quest in lethians crossing.

And let me admit it's bad decision, if it's not a bug.
Yes, I understand, it's makes player to REPLAY EVERYTHING just to see something he skips, but, well... it's 1/4 of game artifically cut out for every taken character, without any possibility to influence it.

I agree with that.

Especialy that some of these quests are connected.
Finshing burning library gives us new choice in stalwart, while lethians crossing enables us to discover aditional chambers in blade grave oldwalls. I dont see a point in limiting our options here and at the same time making these quests influence each other. This game has enough replayability even without such limitations.

Or at least if they do limit it, they should give a narrative reason for it. For instance, if you leave Lenthian's crossing for last, the bane break out and engulf everything, making it impossible to enter. Or if you leave the library for last, the scarlet chorus tries taking the archive but mess up, ruining the protection spell and blowing up the entire library. Or just have the archon say "we don't know what happened, but the entire library suddenly just blew up".
There, issue solved, you now have a narrative reason for your arbitrary limitation that does not ruin immersion. You're welcome, Obsidian.

Following the Disfavoured route this is what I've done so far after visiting Lethinans Crossing and finding pretty much that the mayor and the Disfavoured representative wouldn't advance any quests.

Well I finished the Blade Grave and cleared the Oldwalls - except for the locked room that I'm assuming requires torchkeys from somewhere else.
Stones of Elucidation and unlocking the Ocean Spire can be done in one visit (the stones are both there, you just have to look for them).

Completed the section at Sentinel Stand (almost had to make a pretty grim decision! Glad I'm playing as a mage with high lore!) and when I went back to Ashe I got the option of sorting out The Burning Library or the Crossing. Chose the Crossing, hope this will move things forward.

P.S. I think it would be simpler if the game just made it so you couldn't visit Lethians Crossing straight out of meeting Tunon for the first time. I mean I know in other games (PoE, BG2, etc) that you can pretty much go anywhere from early on, there's still a certain linearity to the questlines - I mean I never do Dyrford Village before Defiance Bay and I never run Firkraags Dungeon or The Planar Sphere before I take down the D'Arnise Keep and The Umar Hills.

Thing is, though, it makes perfect sense to go to Lethian's Crossing first, especially if you were the magistrate and doubly so if you appointed the Disfavored to protect the city. You get the quest to go there and investigate the spire - the only other spire that you as a character has likely been up and close to - and it's also where you go to look for the smuggler(s) that moved the illegal iron.

So while I agree that there's a certain linearity in BG2 and PoE, for example, and that that same linearity should apply to Tyranny. Like you say, you generally go to Defiance Bay before you go to Dyrford Village. In this scenario, Lethian's Crossing is Defiance Bay, not Dyrford Village. Iron Hearth or Cacophony are at least four days travels out from the Bastard City, while Lethian's Crossing is a mere two days, and you have every reason to visit Lethian's Crossing before you visit either of the other two.

I see your point and I am inclined to agree with you, but to fix it in a way that allows Lethians Crossing to be done first might require a larger rework of the game that simply making Lethains Crossing an option only AFTER the first main Disfavoured/Chrous/etc major quest?

I think we can both agree however that something needs to be done to avoid the confusion of being allowed to roam around half of some OldWalls, find 2 rubbings, be able to guess the 3rd piece and basically activate a spire well out of course with the rest of the events.

Maybe just lock the doors to the Lethians Crossing Oldwalls and tighten up the mayors dialogue so he tells u what you need to do to get the seal from him>

I think that this could solve the most immediate issues, but I think you'd also need to make some kind of function relating to asking the Elder for the key, and so on. It wouldn't really make sense to go to Lethian's Crossing to visit the spire, see that the door is locked and then be unable to ask anyone about it.

Ultimately, I think it should be fairly easy to lock the door, tighten up the dialogue, and allow you to actually progress into the spire and resolve it and only it, without ruining a bunch of triggers. Let us get a/the quest from the elder, hunt the bane and get in.

Then add a quest update when we find the rubbings and the locked internal door, saying that if we can't solve it, we may have to return later.

Hi administrator,

I have the same issues as well.

This is the sequence i did in the following

1. Betray chorus and depraved
2. Go to tunon court, spoke to everyone
3. Avoided battle with the mercs
4. Arrived at lethain crossing, cleared the enemies
5. Spoke to everyone but no quest was activated or any sort.
6. Claimed the spire
7. Then i spent 1 and half hours clicking on everything and entering every single room
8. There isnt another area in the map for me to advance how should i proceed? If this is a real bug will it be fixed or can i refund on the game?\\\

So i restarted the game.

Im currently now at tunon court again, however im unsure how to proceed to other maps. As i read that it is best to avoid leviathian crossing at all cost

Please help on this.

Huh, I was lead to believe that the rebellion/anarchy scenario were the only ones that actually worked as intended, which is suggested by the fact that you could avoid the Mercs (in many scenarios, having sided with Chorus or Disfavored, you cannot pass peacefully - at least not until you have the quest to go there, afaik).

It's my understanding that you should've gotten some kind of missive, when you reach Lethien's Crossing when you take the rebellion/anarchy path. This might be a stupid question, but are you sure you don't have one?

Otherwise, if I understand the rebellion/anarchy scenarios and Lethien's Crossing correctly (and I very well may not be, not having played that route myself) you might be well and properly screwed if you haven't. Do you have any option to go anywhere other than Lethien's Crossing?

I did pretty much the same thing EXCEPT that after taking Ved**something well (the first spire) i received a missive from Bleden Mark.
*NOTE* I betrayed both sides AND pawned the rebels...... though i let their leader crawl off bleeding but alive.
AFTER Tunon I went to Lethain and had the same experience as you.
So I went to see Mark and he told me to head to the Library which unlocked it.
Did the Library chain,
ended the edict
.
Went back to Mark and he tells me about Artifacts in several locations.
I chose to hear more about Lethain's and couldn't hear about the rest.
Headed to Lethain's and now there is a DIFFERENT (but similar) quest chain involving the Magebane helmet. the bronze brotherhood etc.
Busy doing that now hopefully after i saved his nuts from the brotherhood AND a bane threat the Mayor will give me that key. (Got to ask him for it as part of the quest and he said no).

All in all I think this is actually more our fault than Obsidian. We see bugs where i think was actually just intentionally vague writing in the spirit of *figure it out*
