In the later game, if you happen to have very powerful vassals (some players like to live dangerously) you may need to raise a few men to put down a rebellion,invade a single county or just send some help to an ally, but the closest provinces make you assemble tens of thousands of levies in a single province, sometimes even exceeding the supply limit and making the army take attrition while you split it up and move around different provinces.
I think we could use a toggle letting us decide if we want to raise all the levy of a vassal at once or the local duke/count (basically the immediate subordinate of your direct vassal).
