Correct.
"Soccer" is a travesty of the glorious name of "Football", which is a small cry from the ever-epic "Fútbol".

Soccer is for girls and little boys. Football on the gridiron is for men.

yes but ours was here first. and i'll remind you that although england's football team is pretty poor at the moment, Australia, canada, and USA's teams are utterly half arsed and shocking. thats why they pretend its a crap sport. plus ours is the only one in which you actually use your FOOT to kick a BALL.

That's why the Draka lost - they don't play (real) football!
I find it rather funny how we're all arguing about this. It's enjoyable.

To the recent posts, let me say: AMEN!

[OFFTOPIC]
Seconded. There will come a day when these people who call it Soccer will learn how to play it and eventually win a world cup like the real countries. Then they will call this breton sport Football in honor its inventors.
Only exception acceptable -> the italian "Calcio".

A New Atlas
"In the 10,000 years of Korean history known to us, our nation has never been as strong as it is today! The last half-century of occupation from both the Japanese and the Draka has been a trial, and the Korean people have succeeded beyond any expectation! We have forged ourselves into a strong nation, brought productivity and life to the barren lands of Manchuria, Mongolia, and the Baikal. We have endured and grown strong since the dawn of mankind, and the future will only see our nation grow stronger!"
--Kang Seung Jae, 1950

The following is an excerpt from The New Atlas: The World After the Eurasian War:

. . . Hitler decided to give much of the conquered Eurasia to his allies to reward them for their contributions to the war effort. The contributions went, in descending order:

  1. Italy
  2. Spain
  3. Scandinavia
  4. Hungary
  5. Romania
  6. The Netherlands
  7. Greece
  8. France
  9. Celtic League

These contributions were compensated with land, as can be seen in Africa (see Fig. 1). Italy and Spain contributed much, and they were given large swaths of land just south of their nations in North Africa. Scandinavia also was a major ally in the war, and thus was given much of Central Africa. Greece was also a big help, and was given much of the Middle East--the old Ottoman Empire's borders. The Celtic League and France both contributed little, but were still given small colonies in West Africa and Arabia, respectively. Hungary and Romania, which were either landlocked or Black Sea-locked, were each given a large amount of industrial equipment that was captured from the Draka. Germany kept South Africa, the Drakan homeland, under direct occupation.

A new nation was also created in Africa--on Madagascar, the large island off the coast of Africa. A Jewish homeland was created there, and many Ashkenazic and Sephardi Jews chose to move there to escape the oppression of the European governments. The Mizrahi Jews normally did not also immigrate there; a large number of them did, however, immigrate to Greek Palestine and Persia.

Central and Southern Asia were likewise divided (see Fig. 2). The Netherlands received Afghanistan and the western Muslim portion of the former British Raj as a colony. Italy received the rest of the Indian subcontinent, and Spain received the lands that would become Spanish Indochina: Burma, Siam, Indochina, and the Malay Peninsula.

Here, though, more independent nations were formed: Persia, the hodgepodge Central Asian Federation, and Tibet.

draka242.jpg

Fig. 2

In East Asia, two nations were created: the Empire of China, and Baedal (see Fig. 3).

The Empire of China was a revival of the nation that had existed until 1921. In that year, Japan annexed it and sent the emperor into exile. Now Emperor Pu-Yi was for the first time welcome back to his own nation.

Baedal was a new nation. The largest population in it was the Korean people. They had been oppressed for many years by the Japanese, the Soviets, and the Draka. The diaspora of the Korean people from Korea to Manchuria took place under the Japanese, who needed laborers after conquering China in 1920--by the beginning of the Eurasian War, Koreans and Japanese outnumbered the Han and Manchus there by an overwhelming majority, and with the Drakan invasion of China and the evacuation of ethnic Japanese to the Home Islands, Koreans were alone the majority in Manchuria. In the Soviet Union, ethnic Koreans in the Primorsk area were moved to the Baikal area when Stalin feared conflict with Japan, where they became a large minority (a small majority by the conception of Baedal). Mongolia became a colony of Baedal, and soon had many Korean settlers.

draka243.jpg

Fig. 3

The reason a large Korean state was established was two-fold. First, there was already an Allied Korean rump-state in Jeju (much as there was a Chinese rump-state on Taiwan) [see Fig. 4]. Second, it was to reward the large Korean population for their efforts in the war against the Draka. The Koreans were instrumental in the defeat of the Draka in Northeast Asia, when--as Axis units were approaching--the large Korean resistance movement against the Draka, led by their leader Kang Seung Jae (the future first Supreme Leader of Baedal), rose up against their Drakan oppressors. This led to the collapse of the Drakan resistance, and victory in that portion of Asia.

Baedal was led by Kang Seung Jae from Shindan (formerly Harbin), which translates as the "Land of the Gods." Baedal would be a key Germany ally for the rest of the war, and during the German. . .
