Less Anachronistic Crowns

This mod replaces the rank crowns with ones that are less anachronistic.

• The emperor-tier crown is modelled after enameled-plated crowns, as used in the Imperial Crown of the Holy Roman Empire and in crowns from the Eastern Roman Empire.
• The king-tier crown is modelled after the Crown of Charlemagne and the Crown of Saint Wencesclas.
• The other crowns are generic circlets, differentiated by colour and jewels.

Because I wanted to encompass the Holy Roman Imperial crown as well.

Think away the arch and cross.

In this form, it is generic enough for both.

It's a bit of a mix. It's the Imperial Crown stretched a bit out to resemble the Monomachus Crown, and with larger decoration rather than only jewels. I took the enthroned Christ from this depiction of the crown of Hungary. It's why I called this mod Less Anachronistic Crowns, and not Historically Accurate Crowns. Just generic models that resemble various crowns worn during the time period of this game, rather than the generic vanilla crowns that date from later times.

I am capable enough to recreate the actual crowns in this style, but sadly there's no option to attach certain crowns to a title or culture. The Iron Crown of Lombardy would look great, for example.

I think you should recreate faithfully a crown for each level (Empire, Kingdom....), I prefer this way than a mix, because of course you couldn't make every crown of the Middle Ages :happy:.

P.S. A good empire crown could be the Reichcrone you posted above
