Leprosy needs to be visually represented - a mask may be the best option

As the title says. It really breaks immersion when you're playing as Baldwin IV of Jerusalem and your face is as normal as everyone else's. It would be a much appreciated entry to the game if some form of mask is applied once characters develop symptoms (is an adult and has leprosy trait).

I know I may get dogpiled on for daring to reference a Hollywood representation of the Middle Ages, but, I loved how Baldwin was portrayed in Kingdom of Heaven (I've only seen the badass Director's Cut, not the apparently-crappy theatrical release, so, don't jump to judgement people! D: ) He looked quite cool in his leper's mask. I second this notion, it'd be really cool to have lepers wear a mask like in that movie (maybe its style/ornamentation can change depending on a character's rank?)

KoH is a great movie, but the mask was totally fictitious. It looked cool and seemed to make sense, so they used it. Historically no such mask existed -- Baldwin probably just wore a robe/cloak or something, like some characters do in CK II anyway.

I'm not saying it wouldn't look cool (and there are mods that add a variety of masks) but it's not actually historical.

A visual representation of leprosy would be awesome, though. I think the game does show scars. You could use the same effect for syphilis, too.

Isn't there a visual representation for the bubonic plague? Or was it a mod? Anyway, without anything better, a dedicated modder could use that and adapt it to Leprosy.

I've seen a portrait alter for smallpox.

I haven't seen any portrait change for any other disease, but I've never seen an adult survive long with any other disease.
