Lend Lease is not contributing to my autonomy

Hi,

I'm playing as the Raj, and trying to get independent so that I can complete the spies trade acheev.

The issue is, despite the fact I am lend leasing a load of my rifles to the UK, it isn't having any impact at all on my 'subject lend leasing to overlord' modifier.

Anyone know why this is the case? Usually this + war score contribution is how I manage to get countries independent but it doesn't seem to be working.

I'm probably overlooking an obvious rule or modifier somewhere.

I think lend-leasing outdated rifles doesn't increase autonomy and you have to give the most recent model. I'm not sure but that could be it. Another possibility is if your lend-lease doesn't reach the UK (maybe it's getting sunk on the way ?).

When Weapons 2 are researched Lend Leasing Weapons 1 have far less impact on the autonomy score.
When you propose to send a lend lease it always tells you how much autonomy you would gain, there you also always can check the difference of equipment types and levels.

I would always propose lend leasing convoys. Having like 5 Dockyards early on produces quite alot of convoys which always give a nice autonomy score, and UK also always can use more convoys.

Also note it must be your equipment, not that taken from an enemy. Convoys are usually by far the best bet in terms of efficiency for getting autonomy.

Convoys, support equipment, and motorized never go out of date so they're good options for autonomy grinding.
