Just updated to LEM 3.1.2 and noticing that the gene clinic building series is still +3/+6 workers not the new +2/+4 AND don't see Mastery of Nature anymore in Ascension Perks.
Making me think mods are messing with some other LEM-new tech/ect. benefits/mals.

Run a lot of mods, but these seem the most likely candidates messing with the above: Planetary Diversity, Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features, or Ethics & Civics Classic 3.1, Legendary Worlds 3.1.2, or !!Ariphaos Unofficial Patch (3.1).

Observed the differences even after a clean uninstall/reinstall from Steam.

Wondered if this is common experience to anyone else running these mods and LEM, or just have any ideas what might be happening.

Apologies in advance if this should go in Bugs, but not sure whether to call this a bug.

It's definitely your mods. I checked base files and it's 2 jobs for basic clinic and 4 for the upgraded one. Mastery of Nature is also still in the game.

What you do is save your game and disable all the suspicious mods, then load and check jobs and perks. If everything is as it should be that's a sign one of the mods is messing with your game. Then you exit, enable one of the mods, and load again. Keep doing that until things get messed up again and the last mod you added is the culprit.

Dragatus.

Thanks for feedback. Following your suggestions though wouldn't the very nature of those mods break and malf a save game if you tried to reload without them?

Thinking the only way to figure this out brute force would be to do a sandbox with no opponents and a simple galaxy, run adding only the mods in question one at a time at least as far as the gene labs and first tradition.

Also, thinking the UI Dynamic and combination of its enabler patches for PD, ect. might be culprits.

Running original save games though probably can load without - one at a time - UI Dynamic and the A. unofficial patch.

Thought I might post here since the mods in question seem to be common and popular with many and somebody else has experienced the same.

Things like number of jobs provided by building will update when you add/remove mods that tweak it and reload the save. Same for availability of ascension perks.

save won't break if you don't unpause and let it autosave with the inconsistent game rules. the process described is just for testing and you never need unpause

Think I Figured out what it all was. Ethics and Civics Classic has the Eccocentric Ethic that allows for the Civic Ecological Engineers - if you take both it adds up to a lot of extra hab and terraforming right out the gate. My conclusion is the mod author nerfed out MoN and put in the +3/+6 worker thing with gene clinic series for play balance so that ethics/civics combo wouldn't be too over-powered.
