Why should my leige declare war on the same people I do? Can my leige always aford to do this? Since you have to have a claim to declare war doesn't that mean that my leige has to use prestige to get a claim on the ruler I just declared war on and then use that claim to declare war.
This can't be working right cause the leige needs to balance whether or not he can really aford to go to war, yet it never fails, he always declares war when I do.
I actually haven't checked to see if his prestige falls, but it should if the AI is following the rules of the game.
In my example I'm the Count of York and I declare war on the Count of Laigin in Ireland. My leige, Duke of Norfolk and his leige, King of England both declare war on Laigin. They arrive during the seige after I had beat the army and helped me conquer the province. I then sued for peace and had myself installed as Count of Laigin. Now why in the world would the Duke or the King have taken part in my war if they had nothing to gain. I guess they thought lossing prestige and gold were worth it just so they could help a lowly Count increase his lot in life????
