I noticed this today.

If you have a bastard and legitimise them, and then have another one and legitimise THEM the first bastard reacts just like your legitimate children.

if I have a wife and a mistress, and I then marry my mistress after my wife dies and legitimise out children from before the marriage it shouldn't be like this.

Hey,

This is intended : basically, you have to see this from the point of view of the legit bastard who will not be happy to see another bastard legitimized, as it threatens their own chances of inheritance, regardless of who the 2nd bastard his (might even be their natural sibling, doesn't matter). So, when you legitimize another bastard, you just give them more competition, thus why they get an opinion debuff with you, even if that's justified from your point of view.

Medieval times... not great for family bonding :/

I hope that clarifies the situation.
