while I completely disagree with the premise of this post, one change that might shake up the region is removing aristocratic from Poland / Lithuania idea sets. Local nobility means that past a certain point, PLC (referring to either PU or commonwealth formation) weakness has to be very drastic for its neighbors to pounce on it.

Before 1500, region is actually fairly dynamic, with relatively equal chances for "PLC explode", "PLC stable", and "commonwealth stronk." It seems that afterwards, if PLC is stable, it will remain that way barring some serious player intervention.

He didn't post his credentials. It was a figure of speech. He should have used "sarcasm" tag.
The figure of speech was meant as a reply to "Eh no. Please learn the meaning of the term super power." There was so much mentorship in this that I cannot blame Pilot for being sarcastic about it. I don't get how it escalated so quickly into broader discussion (completely out of propotion) about the relevance of PhD for posting in PDX forum.

Finally someone who knows to read, thank you friend.

I wonder why none cries about Theodoro being so weak? /sarcasm off

Probably cause of the fact that many players managed to turn it into a monster ^^

Better yet, make countries lose ideas or whole idea groups in case they really screw up. I don't think PLC needs a special treatment here, since conquering just about anyone with Local Nobility is a pita.
