Parsi's didn't really invade India. They integrated themselves as a mercantile community. They would make sense as Republican vassals. But unfortunately,CK3 doesn't make republican vassals interesting.
Yes I know that. I was having a bit of fun coming up with something as zany as Hormuz being a superpowered formable.

It'd be nice for Assyrians to have formables or at the very least dynamic names for existing titles
This is the biggest thing for me. Please give me Assyrian/Sogdian/Khwarwzmian and Nestorian/Manichaean content (I know Zoroastrian is an almost inevitability).

Rather than them pulling a super irrelevant religion out of a hat like Basque paganism, I’d rather them focus on strengthening the things that already are.

Make a Manichaean Persia as interesting as I’m sure a Zoroastrian one will be. Give Assyrians appropriate art and make playing an independent Assyrian ruler interesting in a way that isn’t just Bronze age LARP. Let me BECOME Prester John, an ally of Christianity from the East against the Muslims.

Oooh, claiming the mantle of Prestor John could be a great goal for any christian ruler in Persia or to the east of it.

Yeah, this one is the biggest for me. But to my knowledge the Assyrian culture doesn't even exist in game, which should a starting point considering they existed at the time and still do to this day!

A decision similar to the Council of Toledo for Mozarabic would be really really cool imo, maybe along the lines of an ahistorical much earlier version of the later Eastern Schism. The only thing I'd worry about is how to incentivise using it instead of the "create a new faith" button.

How many counties does it occupy and what counties are they because I can't for the life of me find it on the wiki.

867 (counties of Samarra, Anbar Takrit, Irbil and Kirkuk(majority of the duchy of Samarra and a bit of Kurdistan and Baghdad}:
