Quote from PARADOX staf :D

Thats mining coretly and historicly acurate so I call all people who can contribute to sugestion for Bosnian, Croatian ,and Hungarian and perhaps aders BALKAN states leders and monarhs.
I wuld like wee could tetermine who whill be whose leder or monarh
as some L or M where at same time Bos/Cro, HUN/CRO ore iven some HUN/CRO/BOS mixed :D
So lets make moste acurate and aceptably for all people.
This tetrmination will be neded as wee here are sometimes confused, and leting it ben determin by people noth historcly informed abauth West Balkan history and situation... An L,M caos will prably hapened.

So people donth be shay:D and sey yor idea :)
As for myself im going back into my cave to examin ancient books
so I can poste some leders and monars :D

P.S. noving of acurate spelling is noth neded in here ;) but is welcomed

Pravo da ti kazem mislim da niko nije razumeo ono sto si napisao... :)
Zar ne mozes naci nekog da ti proveri pravopis?

OK, now I'll try to make an attempt to prove that some leaders Hrv123 mentioned should be on the Hungarian list. It is true that every one of them were Croatians by nationality, but that didn't matter during those times. Napoleon was Italian by nationality, and still he's celebrated as one of the greates Frenchmen.

I don't know who Nikola Jurisic was, but Zrinyi Miklos (Nikola Zrinjski by Hrv123) is just so important for Hungarian history that he cannot be separated from Hungary. He did lead the defence of the fort of Szigetvar when Suleyman I besieged it and died (his closes friends put the deciesed Suleyman on the throne so that the soldiers would believe he's alive and wouldn't stop the siege).
His son, also called Zrinyi Miklos is one of the most important writers of this time. He wrote a book (Szigeti veszedelem) that is important for Hungarians as much as Shakespeare's dramas for the English. He was also a succesfull general, but after his plot to dethrone the Habsbourgs he was executed.

Toma II Erdedy did defend Sisak (Sziszek), but the Turks were so angry because of this that they started the Fifteen Years war, capturing most of central Hungary.

Now I'll translate the monarch listing from what is found in EU to what SHOULD BE in EU2:

name = "Ulászló II"
startdate = { year = 1490 }
enddate = { year = 1516 }

name = "Lajos II"
startdate = { year = 1516 }
enddate = { year = 1526 }

name = "Szapolyai János"
startdate = { year = 1526 }
enddate = { year = 1540 }

name = "Ferdinánd I"
startdate = { year = 1540 }
enddate = { year = 1563 }

name = "Miksa"
startdate = { year = 1563 }
enddate = { year = 1575 }

name = "Rudolf I"
startdate = { year = 1575 }
enddate = { year = 1592 }

name = "Báthory Zsigmond"
startdate = { year = 1592 }
enddate = { year = 1606 }

name = "Mátyás II"
startdate = { year = 1606 }
enddate = { year = 1612 }

name = "Bethlen Gábor"
startdate = { year = 1612 }
enddate = { year = 1629 }

name = "Rákóczi Ferenc I"
startdate = { year = 1629 }
enddate = { year = 1648 }

name = "Rákóczi Ferenc II"
startdate = { year = 1648 }
enddate = { year = 1660 }

name = "Lipót I"
startdate = { year = 1658 }
enddate = { year = 1677 }

name = "Thököly"
startdate = { year = 1677 }
enddate = { year = 1698 }

name = "József I"
startdate = { year = 1698 }
enddate = { year = 1710 }

name = "Károly III"
startdate = { year = 1710 }
enddate = { year = 1739 }

name = "Mária Terézia"
startdate = { year = 1739 }
enddate = { year = 1779 }

name = "József II"
startdate = { year = 1779 }
enddate = { year = 1789 }

name = "Lipót II"
startdate = { year = 1789 }
enddate = { year = 1791 }

name = "Ferenc I"
startdate = { year = 1791 }
enddate = { year = 1835 }

Hope all characters can be viewed. If not then use a Central-European encoding... :rolleyes:
Also, this list is not correct :)
There were Habsbourg monarchs in western Hungary, and there were elected dukes in Transylvania. For example, Bathory, Bethlen or Thokoly were Transylvanian dukes, the rest of Hungary was ruled by the Habsbourgs. I guess Paradox put in these dukes only because they were more important than the rest (also, Bethlen and Thokoly captured (for a short time) most of Habsbourg-Hungary)...

Even if this is true, I don’t see why can’t mentioned leader be on both Croatian and Hungarian leaders? You can frequently see the same guys in Spanish and Austrian army, I was playing Russia and my general Michael. Glinski was fighting Polish army under their Michael Glinski (the same guy, I checked the leader file).
It is little strange, but that’s how EU works for now.

znam to me ogrnicava u diskusijama ahhhhhh:(
Jel znas neki program za skinut za spelling ??

Actualy this is one of resons why I put this in opened for discusion

I no that Zrinyi/Zrinski famly was importhant for Hungary. But that much didnth no...

As for Croatia
Family Zrinski was the bigest and the moste important noble family defender of Croatia as name and as state and as a an politicl factor.
Zrinyi/Zrinski famly is so importhant for Croatia at period of 15/16 ct that its imposible ass I see to give them to Hungary.
Zrinski family were Ban of Croatia and Slavonia moste friqvently in this period so they will be monarh/bans/dux or wathewer in Monarchs.cro file.
Posbilty that they are rulers of Croatia( bans ) , and Hungarian/Croatia leders could be a bit tu much for EUII game engine.

The best fing for Zrinyi/Zrinski as leders if EUII wold be perhaps
Leders.cro have them on Croatian names ( Zrinski )and Leders.hun file under Hungarian name ( Zrinyi )...
And Im shure they were newer rulers of hungary.... actualy can you tell what did they owned as posesion in Hungary then ?

Sory for That result of Sisak battle
but Ottomans where agresor all this time, perhaps would be bether to sey Bosnians (Bosnian leders becomed all sunni and Bosna become part of Ottoman state) was at all time war with Croatia.

Fights from until 1699 could be called "TOTAL WAR" time period where peace agrementh didnth ment much in border region.

And who is that Johan Zapolja in EU Hun monarch file ??

and monarchs in period 1419 - 1490 shuld be???

a) Osmanlije dobiti Sokolovica u svakom slucaju ?
b) Bosna dobiti njega
c) Nesta se nece desiti, on nikad nije dosao na vlast.

OK, I agree these generals should be on both sides, Croatian and Hungarian. And I guess it doesn't matter if in a Cro-hun war Zrinyi fights Zrinjski, as this happened many times with Hab versus Spa etc.

Um, I think the first Zrinyi was captain of Western hungary, in EU called Odenburg.

Sory for That result of Sisak battle

Hehe, I don't blame Toma for defending Sisak, I just remembered his name cause the Fifteen Years war was the most destructive so I studied it a bit more

And who is that Johan Zapolja in EU Hun monarch file ??

Szapolyai Janos was a joke of a monarch. He's friends called him, um.. Matilda if I remember, because he had a girlish voice :) :) :)
After the battle of Mohacs he was the most powerful noble in the country, so he was elected king. People thought he will save Hungary just like Hunyadi Janos a century before, but he had no military skills. So anyway, the Habsbourgs occupied the western parts of the country (in EU the 3 disputed provinces), and Szapolyai asked for TURKISH help. So the Turks came, defeated the Austrians and conquered central Hungary. Szapolyai then withdrawed to Transylvania and I think it was his fault the country fell apart for 150 years. :mad:

Will post them as soon as I find my book... I know there are Zsigmond, who was also HRE, Laszlo and Matyas... but I think there are some other less important kings too...

Mislim da to nema veze. Uzecu opet primer Spanije i Austrije. Ako istrebis Spance jos uvek mozes dobiti njihove generale kao Austrijanac...

Let's not forget Hapsburg Albert (1438-40) and Janos Hunyadi as governor(42-48 I think but I'm really not sure) should deserve a honourable mention. (BTW no Walachia will not get the Hunyadies no way :D )
