Learning Immortality

That post appears to say that immortality is nearly impossible with learning attribute. Is that indeed the case?

If i read correct and watching the spreadsheed it shouldn't matter which Attribute you choose if it is high enough.

(English isn't my first language, sorry if there are mistakes with the gramar)

I refer to the following in that thread:

"The only exception is the first Learning test which doesn't have a random outcome. Instead the first option will succeed or fail based on your traits (possibly including a bit of chance), the second will always succeed, and the third will always fail."

Does that mean that learning based immortality attempt will always fail?

No. The learning based attempt was the only one that ever worked for me.

It refers to the options in the individual events/tests themselves. I.e. choosing the second option in each test will always succeed. You might still fail in the end though, if the mystic is a fake.

My mystic isn't fake as she has 15 base learning and 30 overall learning. But all options in the last quest seem to be leading to failure. Please see attached for options and advise with the best option.

Afaik you cannot savescum when the event has already fired, as the chances are already selected, so unless you can go back in time to before you got the last event you may be boned

Found out from the original poster of that message that the 1st optiio has the best chance.
