since 1.30 I haven't seen a league war, even though I have played a lot of games, is this just bad luck or are the protestants not powerful enough now? Have you guys been seeing fewer or more league wars?

There was definitely a league war in my last game, so maybe just bad luck?

I've been playing 1.30.4 for quite some time (6 campaigns through to 1700s). League war fired in 4 out of 6. One of the two that didn't was because I was Austrian HRE emperor and was too strong for the Protestants to even think about it.

I had a league war fire when I was Arabia and I joined the league with the intention of dismantling the HRE. I triggered the war though not as the protestant war leader due to being sunni but as I was part of the league all the members of the Catholic league were called in as co belligerents so I had to race to the elector capitals as the actual league war fired not longer after I beat up Austria.
