Leadership modification

Hey everyone I’m looking to do some moding and I would like to increase the leadership for Canada (nothing crazy just bring it up to 12 or so)
I can’t find the leadership for country’s in the files. Where should I look for this?

Leadership is (somewhat counter-intuitively) in the provinces file. Find the appropriate Canadian province and edit the Leadership quantity.

Remember that techs and other modifiers will significantly increase the base Leadership value, so don't try to add as much as you think you need directly to the provinces. A few tenths of a point in two or three provinces can make a substantial difference.

Unfortunately, the game gives practically no discount for researching way-behind techs that should be easy to advance just by hiring a few foreign engineers who are familiar with the obsolete technology, or sending someone to a public library in the US or UK.

I'm happier altering a savegame than the permanent game files. Another option could therefore be to increase the Education or computer levels in the save. You could give yourself a large pool of spies. You could gift yourself increased levels in techs like all the destroyers up to 1939, or just increase the theory levels in chosen techs to speed their research speeds.

I sometimes miss out researching tanks or subs and just buy the latest models from the UK or France under license.

Similar move to alter the LS in the game via save file, just edit the leadership line in the province by searching the number.

Or you can simply create an event to give an LS modifier to Canada alone
