Didn't I post full list of Yugoslav generals few weeks ago?

Croatia has more leaders then it can form divisions.

Btw, for Germany and Italy and so on... We could use the trigger AI = no so they only trigger for players and players can choose the way they go, the AI will always stick to historical.

Vulture.....You are a treasure  Is there such a AI thingy?.Then I would like you to apply it to all the elections after the 2 first options for each country....although not the gov reshuffle thing You should by now have all the A countries returned with a correct alignment..This one functions great.but as I told you it is because of the faulty starting alignment for almost all files we have...I guess no one has ever looked into that, and when one changes that like I have done you have to change everything else...:) Takes a LOT of testing. But as said you now have gotten all the A countries back so please apply that AI thingy to those after the first two options.I will now move to the B countries (not Belgium because I don't think we have finished that one.....:)..and I guess Bolivia will drive me nuts....:)

No, you didn't entirely get me :p
There is an AI = yes/no trigger for the whole event, a normal trigger condition... So the event would still trigger with all election outcomes.

Floyd Bjerstjerne Olson very succesfull politician (governor) and usually aligned with right wing like Lemke but he was so antiracistic that we simply cannot include him in fasc file with the people he had lawsuits against...it was his economy which was right wing not his social views. No wonder the poor man couldn't really find his feet.He was the son of a Norwegian father and a Swedish!!!!!

That's Floyd BJØRNSTJERNE Olson. Wouldn't exactly call him right wing. He was a strong supporter of Roosevelts "New Deal". He described himself as a radical and was a supporter of cooperativism and government ownership of of big business. His ecconomic views were probably more similar to scandinavian social democrats in the 50's than fascist cooperativism...

Yep but I used his US name....Bjernstjerne,nope neither would I that's why I moved him to the left, but it was strange there was several times he teamed up with right wings(and I mean right wings) also a good friend of Huey Long it seems...strange bedfellows he choose.Threatened to run against Roosevelt in 36 because he felt that Roosevelt weren't going far enough but alas illness and death caught up with him (stomach cancer)Interresting guy though

Costa Rica and next stop Cuba

Costa Rica made with new csv new ministers elections 16 pics....and now on to sunny Cuba,,only "problem"here I think will be the slow move of Batista from LWR to PA....:)

and the Czech Republic..this is where we could have put Heydrich in but I think it is better to keep him rested forever,I'll find another gauleiter....

But it is also one of those countries with MAJOR changes historically, will be fun making...and I have a LOT of new CZ generals...:)

I guess what we will do in 39 is putting the NS gov in as first option and then dream up a PA possible coup gov as a 2.option with the democrats as 3rd. and commies as 4th. In 45 we will apply the commies and democrats and kill the other off (except in Keep Current) although I think NS should go away there.and if memory serves me right I think we will apply the full ST takeover in 47.Wasn't that the year Masaryk "fell" out of his window...not a mean feat for a rather thick man to get through such a small window..... :(

Japanese Air Leader Comments

Hi, I recently knew this game and enjoy it very much.
However, as a Japanese, I found something worng in the leader status.
Please allow me to show some revisions and recommendation.

Air General

1. Saboru;101354;JAP;3;4096;2;0;5;2;saboru_saki_jap;x
Should be "Sakai;101354;JAP;3;4096;2;0;5;2;saburo_sakai_jap;x"

He was a famous fighter pilot and well-known wirter of "Samurai".
So, please correct the name!
I first wonder who is Saboru?
But, from the picture, I found him Sakai.
He was Lt. jg at the time of end of the war, but it is acceptable since he was famous and there was few Japanese commander of fighter group.

2. Yamashita;101366;JAP;1;131072;4;0;5;2;yamashita_tomoyuki_jap;x

I do not know why he is allocated to a role of air general.
I suppose they attribute the success of destruction of Prince of Wales in Malay sea to him who was the commander of army in the Malay.
However, this success should be attributable to Navy commander.
Because the navy bombers in the land sank them.

Since Ozawa Jisaburo was the commander of Navy of Malay area,
he should repalce the role of Yamashita.
(He is the same person of Vice Adimital Jisaburo Ozawa
Ozawa;101309;JAP;2;6144;4;0;5;1;ozawa_jisaburo3_jap;x)

3. Fuchida;101340;JAP;2;16384;3;0;5;2;fuchida_mitsuo_jap;x
I do not know why he has the trait of Tankbuster.
He was the commander of air attack group of Pearl Harbor.
It is natural that he has the trait of Fleet Destroyer.
However, this change will damage to Japan for she has no leader of tankbuster after that...
Unfortunately I know few Japanese air general who succeeded in land attacking.

4. Candidate for Supertactician.
Except for Mj.General Saboru (Lt.jg Sakai), Japan has no leader with supertactician.
It is my pity.
So, I consider new candidates who should have it.

(a) Mj. General (posthumously)Tateo Kato
He was an army officer and the only general ace in Japan.

(b) Lt. Mochifumi Nango.
He was a navy officer and engaged in the Sino-Japan War from the beginning.
From the experiences, he contributed to the development of modern fighter tactics.

(c) Cap. Minoru Genda
He was a navy officer and famouw mastermind of Pearl Harbor.
Originally he was a fighter pilot, but did not shot down any planes.
because he was tranferred to staff at the very beginning.
However, approaching the end, he organised a fighter group of navy aces
(similiar to Germany JV44?).
So, he was qualified. However, I do not like him very much...

1. Rear Admiral Raizo Tanaka.
He was the excellent fleet commander at the battle of Tassafaronga and also succeeded in the difficult convoy to Guadalcanal many times.
He was rather highly appreciated by US...

Please transfer him from air general to navy admiral!
I think he should be Level 5 (or 4) and has traits of blockaderunner and supertactician.

Tanaka;101359;JAP;3;6144;5;0;5;1;tanaka_raizo_jap;x

2. Vice Admiral Gunichi Mikawa;101291;JAP;3;0;2;0;5;1;mikawa_gunichi_jap;x
should be Mikawa;101291;JAP;2;4096;4;0;5;1;mikawa_gunichi_jap;x

He was the commander of surface fleet at the time of Battle of Savo Island and won a one-sided victory. So he should be level 4 and Super tactician.

Please take super tactician away from Takeo Kurita and it should be awarded to Mikawa!

the last session...

Unfortunately, I do not know Army generals very much.
So this session will be more suggestive...

1. Army General should have offensive doctorines?
At first, I was suprised that so many Japanese generals has level 3 or 4 and offensive doctorine.
If they were so able guys, they would be able to compete with Allied army.

However, it is good to indicate that they were good at offense but poor at defense since Japanese army paid great value on offense.

So, I suggest that all the generals with offensive doctrine be deducted level by 1 or 2 except for few truly excellent generals such as Yamashita.

2. Ishiwara;101059;JAP;3;16;4;0;5;0;ishiwara_k_jap;x
He was the mastermind of Manchurian Incident and IMO, it was the only strategically successful operation after 1930s.
He should have offensive doctrine as well as trickstar.
At least, I think he was more excellent general than Tojo.
And he was retired in March 1941 as Lt. General because of conflict with Tojo.

So he should be "Ishiwara;101059;JAP;2;20;4;0;5;0;ishiwara_k_jap;x

3. Japanese Marine "Rikusentai"
Japanese Marine belonged to Navy.
But, general with command look like army generals such as Ichiki.

I know only one rear adimiral who was famous in the battle of Okinawa.
He is Minoru Ota.
I think his status be "Ota;#;JAP;3;256;3;0;5;0"

4. Excellent Generals.

I think Japanese Generals shall be valued from the battle with the Allied.
In such a sense, Yamashita(Offensive in Malay and defensive in Phillipines), Honma (Offensive in Phillipines), Ushijima(D in Okinawa), Kuribayashi(D in Iojima), Nakagawa(D in Peleliu) were excellent.

However, Lt. general Shigesaburo Miyazaki shall be included.
He could safely keep his force at the disastrous Nomonhan Incident.
And also could retreat his division safely at more deadly Impahl.
He was a literally logistics wizard and his division could avoid starving to death in Impahl.

Yamashita and Ushijima status seems good for me.
But IMHO other generals had better be upgraded.

Honma;101042;JAP;2;4;3;0;5;0;honma_masahuru_jap;x
Kuribayashi;101102;JAP;2;6;3;0;5;0;kuribayashi_tadamishi_jap;x
Miyazaki;#;JAP;2;3;4;0;5;0;no_picture_avail;x
Nakagawa;101140;JAP;2;2;3;0;5;0;nagakawa_kunio_jap;x

Thank you for reading my long posts.

Okay I replaced Yamashita with Ozawa, one of the reasons for names mix up is that some sites list the names the japanese way (last name first) and others the western european way....so it hasn't been straightforward easy to make this list. And yes the reason for Fuchida's Tankbuster trait is that he was simple the only one I could figure should have that trait...:)

If you can find pics of the three you mention or direct me to pics of them then they will come in.Or you can send original pics to

birch23dk@yahoo.com

It is nice to have some feedback btw....:)

Well Tanaka is already in the navy section,at least in my files, but I have risen his skills to 3 and given him blockade. promoted Mikawa and gave sup tact and removedthat from Kurita

Perhaps you should try and download the pic package to get the full enjoyment of the game so far,I think Vulture puts my latest csv's into that and Japan is now full pic. This might be the reason for the Tanaka thing.I have however been somewhat reluctant of giving Japanese Navy Commanders to high skill...after all they lost....:) But as we are doing these the last time now..will be a little while before we get to Japan though any addition should come now.

well Miyazaki is in the files already....:) with pic and I have just given him Logistics.added most of the other traits too as they gave sense, bur has not risen skill except for one(now I forgot which one...:) I should add that Hinma has code 512 as well...he more than qualified for that one.You will notice that in the latest files there are more of these guys as the Japanese were extremely tardy about retiring Old Guards...mainly because they were good...:) (we are implementing that more correctly in the latest files as well as giving 512 to navy commanders (much needed there) and in a few cases air(a little rare to find but they are there)
