No i didn't..and thx...meanwhile you have now gotten the closed Italy..this in no 4 of the majors we are closing-----HOORAY.I have cut it a little bit...after all Italy is the minor of the majors...
hmmm ressources.do you mean web ressources or personal ressources..:...well we still have a long way to go before the goal is accomplished-----mission accomplished I believe the word is....and we haven't really started on scanning books yet..although Frodon has begun....and I think that is what we will need too..in the trouble files France,Yugoslavia,Croatia,Sinkiang and Manchukuo.
But as you know suddenly someone falls over a gold mine like Pallas....![]()

What version are you playing and where do you see this? France and Vichy France have him but he is removed from France when Vichy is created (as are many others).Originally posted by Xenofontis
The Vichy French Lt. General, De Verdillac, can hold more than one commission at the same time. It is the same person and not two persons with the same name. His picture is posted there.

Birch, I hope that with the pics I sent there will be enough land leaders for both the spanish factions (about 60 possible leaders for each, not as many as some axis minors, but I hope it's Ok). Now we are short of air and sea leaders, right? Well, can I use fighter ace pilots as air leaders?

By the way, I know I've blamed you about for using killed people in the files, but I understand that we need a playable file with enough leaders. (Actually, if you remove the KIA, the nationalist air files loses Morato and Ramón Franco, and is left with only three air leaders). The exception is Sanjurjo, I still think it should be him or Franco.

Would you care to look through your library for French and British....I did find about 30 brits today..and I think I can close the navy and airforce with those...but I really hate the British army.....I have spent endless hours looking for Arkwright until I found out that Arkwright = Hore Ruthven = a lot of pics---I HATE British nobility

Another thing i would like to mention is the the skill and rating of American Admiral king the game has him as a " superior tactician",
now i dont know how the rest of his career went but i do know he went on to comand the US 10th fleet which was just a fleet in name with no ships it was a logistics and administrative post in South America, must have been his reward for all the good work during the drumbeat operation, now i may be harsh but i dont think he should have the " superior tactician " but thats just me, what i had in mind to since i brought up this long story was some sought of negative tag similar to the "old guard "tag for army Generals.

Hi
first i like to say that you guys are doing a great job its always good to see face to the name of a leader your using, just upgraded to 1.05 patch and noticed you have a Austrian admiral he will come in handy when i annex Yugoslavia.
A couple of things also i would like to mention after looking through the game leaders of some of the countries about there special skills:
1936 scenario German Rear Admiral Von Arnauld De la Periere should have a "sea wolf " tag he was in the top 5 u-boat comanders in the first world war, 194 ships sunk/454000 tons, worthy of the skill.
1956 scenario Polish Rear Admiral Unrug should also be given the "sea wolf " tag another u-boat ace who served in the German Navy during the first world, i also believe went on to train future German naval u- boat comanders who served during the second world including Karl Donitz.
I also see that in all three scenarios that Romanian Rear Admiral I. Georgescu is not present he went on to be Chief Of Naval Staff in 1944.
Another thing i would like to mention is the the skill and rating of American Admiral king the game has him as a " superior tactician", i watched a national geographic show some time back about Opertion Drumbeat the German u-boat offensive on the US Atlantic coast from december 41 to june 42, it spoke about the operation and the leaders involved, the Germans called this this "The Happy Hunting Time ' as the US Atlantic Fleet under King seemed unwilling to do any thing to stop them the British were constantly giving information to the Admiral via there capture enigma machine they had, the Admiral was anti British but more importantly he was anti Royal Navy anything they offered in advice or information was basically ignored which included the setting up of the coastal convoy system and anti submarines sweeps by aircraft and destroyers, the only times these were used were to escort British convoys to iceland while the US fleets merchant arm was almost wiped out because he refused to allow the fleet to leave there ports and protect the merchant ships the air force flew anti sub sweeps only on certain days, one historian on this show went as far as to say that this was the US navies greatest defeat a bigger disaster than Pearl harbour, in 6 months 400 ships were sunk, it was not until the the supply situation was on the verge of collapse that the convoy system was put into operation and more planes and destroyers put into action, now i dont know how the rest of his career went but i do know he went on to comand the US 10th fleet which was just a fleet in name with no ships it was a logistics and administrative post in South America, must have been his reward for all the good work during the drumbeat operation, now i may be harsh but i dont think he should have the " superior tactician " but thats just me, what i had in mind to since i brought up this long story was some sought of negative tag similar to the "old guard "tag for army Generals.
